NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Tame & Frame Eyebrow Pomade, Brunette

I am a guy with thin eyebrows caused by over plucking and shaping them with sharp t-blade clippers. Even years later after no trimming at all they did not grow back in the way they were before I started. I tried using eyebrow pencils and did that for many years but the friction from using pencils daily further thinned my already sparse brows. This pomade is a soft buildable product I apply with a slanted brush. I outline my brows first, fill in the middle with upwards stokes to imitate natural hair patterns then obscure the lines with an eyebrow spoolie. Sometimes I pat over them with tissue to remove any excess. This method makes my brows look full again and natural. Most days you can tell I use a product on my brows but it isn't very noticeable and does not give you that "Painted to the Gods, SNAP!" sort of effect. If you use a heavier amount of this product or layer it, you can achieve that look but that's not what I am going for. I also like I can apply this with a brush which is easy on the eyebrow hair I do have. Since using this product my brows have thickened a little for the first time in years and I believe that is due to the fact it does not pull on your hair when you apply it. I will never go back to pencils after using this. It stays on all day and does not budge unless you rub it. If you have oily skin some can transfer if you pat it or rub across it but it still does not smudge. If you sweat, it does not effect it at all. If you have oily skin it can make the product darken as the day goes along. Patting over it lightly with a tissue once or twice during the day will prevent or fix this.I am a medium dark brown complexion and my hair looks black but it is actually a very dark brown. I tried the black color first and it was very obvious. I tried the espresso color next and as long as I didn't use too much it looked very very natural and matched my hair color. I also tried the brunette color but it didn't really show up on my complexion. If you have black, off-black or very dark brown hair I would advise going with the espresso if you want a natural look.

My brows don’t grow back and without using something it looks like I have two angry commas over my eyes now - wasn’t too sure if this would work - looked too light (once upon a time I was a very dark brunette and my brows are still dark). It works - waxy - so you don’t get too much on the brush skinny little angles brush) and lasts through the day - definately will buy again

The color and staying power of this eyebrow pomade are fantastic. It lasts all day and gives a bold, defined look. However, I found it a bit tricky to use and never quite got the hang of it.Eventually, I switched to a pencil, which was easier for me. If you’re experienced with pomades, this is a great product, but beginners might prefer something more straightforward.

Nice in color pigment!!Smudged-proof makeup, it’s place with a wet brush in water/or light spray onto formula of smudge-proof to make it darker to make it last longer. Or, to use a dash a translucent powder after you brush your brows with a spoilly wand w/light soap and water to give it stand hair that stays. After that, then place the smudge-proof make up on it for the brow then the translucent power will wipe some of it off after it dries.That sound all fancy and everything!! I saw that on YouTube channel last year and three month ago. You don’t have to do that, it’s just a suggestion!For me, I place it on with the brow makeup on the brow after I arch my brows. Then I brush them once over then wiped them down with a cleaning solution. Done!! Lol!!I do recommend this purchase!!

this stuff is my holy freaking grail, ok??screw every other eyeliner in existence. i have eyeliners that costed me $20+ and they don't compare (cough cough, kat von d)i dye my hair black and it's hard to find truly black eyebrow pomades so i use this for my eyebrows as well as liner. holds wonderfully for both, but can crease on your eye. to fix that, i powder underneath (i don't use eyeshadow) and then after i powder again. lasts 8+ hours. if you want even more of a hold, put some liquid eyeliner over it. usually that allows me to draw the shape with this one, get it the way i want, and fill in with liquid which i usually have a harder time creating sharp lines with.for the record, i have oily skin. my forehead gets super oily so usually my eyebrows come off which is very noticeable, because they're blond. they don't with this! draw them on, powder, gel and they're on all day. i don't think i'll ever use anything else for my eyeliner/eyebrows again.

So I was using the elf eyebrow kit for years and it worked good, I recently dyed my hair black and red and I wanted a black pomade for my brows and elf was sold out. So I checked out a couple other brands and of course they were out of the dark brown/black shades also. I found this on amazon, read the reviews, and also looked it up on Google. I decided what the heck, I'll try it. OMG this stuff is amazing, I'll never go back to elf or any other brand. This stuff glides on so smooth and stays in place. It doesn't budge and you can't accidentally scratch it off. It truly is waterproof, I have to use my micellar water to remove it, and even that takes some effort. I could be mauled by a bear and my brows would still be there. My brows would survive the apocalypse. Buy it, it doesn't cost that much and if you don't like it, amazon has an amazing return policy. Oh and I got it in the shade "black".

This is obviously a counterfeit product, and it also arrived used with obvious streaks all over the top of the product. The packaging is also different from the real original packaging. The right product is the real one and left is the fake in my photos.
