I've been interested in a golf range finder for a while. Although I use a Golf GPS watch, which is very useful, on some holes the position of the flag can vary by 20 yards or more which can make a difference. I spent a long time researching the many models of range finders available and checking the features/specs and reviews. I didn't want to pay the price of one of the more well known brands and I eventually chose this Bozily model and so far I'm very impressed with it. It comes well packaged and consists of the unit itself in a good carrying case together with wrist strap, clip for attaching to golf bag, cleaning cloth, 2 CR2 batteries and user guide/paperwork. The carry case provided is better than the one in the product description and the clip for attaching securely to the golf bag is useful. Although the carry case closes with a zip fastener, the case has an elasticated fastening to secure the unit in the case without having to continually zip/unzip each time. The unit itself is small and fits in the palm of the hand. It's powered by 1 CR2 battery but comes with a spare, CR2 batteries can be bought easily on amazon for a relatively low price. Using the unit is easy as there are really only 2 buttons to use. The power button switches the unit on, it auto powers off quickly to save battery life, but a quick press brings it back on and you can see the text in the eye piece. The mode button simply switches between mode 1 and mode 2, this simply decides whether you want the slope compensation to be on or off. On selecting a target, such as the flag, the eye piece can be rotated to sharpen the image. Holding the power button down locks the range finder on the target and once locked it vibrates slightly. I had no problem getting it to lock onto targets and I find the slope compensation useful. The unit seems fairly accurate in giving distances when compared to my GPS watch. Overall the device is easy to use and has a good set of features and accessories. I've only had it about two weeks so far so can't yet comment on it's longevity but it's well made and I'm pleased with it.

This is a very useful little gadget that has replaced my Golf Buddy GPS unit. The courses I play seem to have little or poor reception for GPS and I was finding that the Golf Buddy sometimes lost the satellite and then went two or three holes before finding it again. U#I didn't really want a golf watch so did lots of research before settling on this Bozily range finder. I have been very pleased with this unit. It's compact. It comes in a case that clips to my cart bag and it's really easy to use. In some of the reviews I read people said they kept mixing up the two buttons. It's never happened to me once. I play with people who have hand held units, golf watches and range finders and the accuracy of the Bozily is spot on every time. I think its an attractive looking piece of kit too.My only criticism really applies to all these range finders. Because you're getting 6x magnification you have to have a very steady hand otherwise your reangs can be way off. Being in my sixties doesn't help either, but I quickly made my own solution to the problem. A 4inch x 4inch piece of plywood screwed and glued to a piece of 3/4inch dowelling (both odd bits of wood I happened to have left over from other projects). This slots into the umbrella holder on my trolley and provides a platform for my elbow to rest on keeping my hand and arm rock steady.I've been using this range finder for the past month and I think its a great piece of kit. I purchased this item over a year ago and it was brilliant but after about using it a 12 or so times it would not pick up anything over 10yds i stuck it in a drawer and forgot about it last week i saw it and thought i would contact Bozily,There customer service was brilliant almost instant replies,told them about the problem and within less than a week they have sent me a brand new one through the post,Tried it works fine ,Great service well done Bozily

Will lock on to other things such as the face of a green side bunker or trees around the green instead of just the flag when in "pin lock" mode but getting used to it. All in all great value for money & once I am more adept with it will I'm sure prove itself totally invaluable.Can't really see what more the bigger (& far more expensive) name brands could possibly have to offer to justify their high prices.

I am still trying to figure out how such a small device with an small battery can calculate the distance with this precision using a laser light in a sunny day, but actually it does work. The device is very compact and easy to use, and it gives you a very accurate reading of the distance and inclines and declines. In my opinion it has many applications apart from golf and I will be using it in all sort of things. Also it comes with an adjustment for myopia compensation so you can focus the objects even if you need glasses.

OK I have been using this for over a month now and have changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars. Product did not advise that the jolt and lock facility which is excellent is only available in mode 2 which is illegal in competition.This is still the case however most of my golf is non competition and using the range finder is fun. It is also accurate when compared to my Garmin watch and the course markings.

This is excellent for the price, accurate, easy to use, robust and well protected with a semi hard case. I baulked at the price of top brand rangefinders but the VFM with the Bozily is great. Slope and non slope selection is a doddle Addenda. Still very pleased with this, it is as accurate, within 1 - 2 yards, as a playing partners top brand laser . Great VFM, I should also mention great and timely customer service from vendor

I did some research on rangefinders before I bought this one. And I wasn't disappointed fantastic so easy to use would definitely recommend this product.
