Holes after the very first day of wearing them.
Updated review:Since the company immediately reached out to me and reimbursed me, I have changed from 2 stars to 4. Just beyond impressed by that, especially given that these are very inexpensive socks. They told me that it was possibly a bad batch and I do have to say that I haven’t gotten any more holes since then.Original review:Socks look great but I literally have holes on each sock after wearing them for the very first time (see photo). Why can’t anyone make a dress sock that doesn’t get holes after one or two uses?

Great Socks--Very Comfortable!
I wear a size 9 shoe (men's), and always purchase socks in the size 10-12 range due to inevitable shrinkage from the dryer. These have been laundered twice and now are a perfect fit. I think other reviewers who had holes at the toe pulled them on too far, stretching the socks (trimming your toe nails also helps extend sock life), or ordered too small a size. The heel of the sock will align with my actual heel if not pulled on too far, but even if it goes past my heel, it's not as bad as the customer photo, since the socks have shrunk a little.These socks are comfortable, and do not leave compression dents on my legs after wearing them all day. They also stay up fairly well considering they are not too tight, and sit about mid-calf on me. I like that they are made in Europe vs where everything else is made.

BEWARE: SHRINKAGE IS UNACCEPTABLE
Not shaggy, not too thin; these are the perfect every day sock. Rich blue colors including argyle and very wearable, interesting patterns. These socks breath (and I live in New Orleans). Best socks for the money I've ever worn.Update 7/24/18:I washed these socks three times. The shrinkage is surprising and unacceptable. I had to discard them.

Not too tight
I ordered these, because I was looking for socks that are less tight at the top. Many socks of similar style are tight on the calf, and leave deep divets in my legs by the end of the day. I'm old, and may folks my age have the same problem. These socks are not as loose as diabetic socks, but they are better than the others that I have tried. The top elastic band is more than an inch wide and it doesn't get as uncomfortable by the end of the day or leave the deep marks on my legs. However, there is still some constriction, so I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars on that account. Unless I find something better, I will be buying these again. The colors are what I was looking for, they are holding up well, and generally, they are comfortable.

more like dress socks than I expected.
Good quality socks at a reasonable price. The description mentions "crew" . I found these to be more like dress socks....thinner than what I wanted...so these will be more for dress-up occasions.
