Great for committing and singletrack
I have nearly 30 years of experience with Power Grips. I have mtb raced using them. I now prefer clipless pedals for trail riding, but I still rely on these for commuting as they are usable with boots, sandals, and sneakers. My last pair lasted over ten years of riding. There are folks who don't like them though. You need to incorporate and twisting motion to quickly get out of them, but that becomes a habit very quickly.

Just installed the XL size today and I'm a fan! Decided to go with the XL due to reviews and I'm glad I did. I wear a US mens size 9 and although I had to put these on the smallest hole, I'd be afraid the regular sized ones would be too small. You could even punch additional holes if necessary. As a minimalist that doesn't like too many bells and whistles, this is a great buy.

These fit on my replacement pedals just fine.
These add a bit of extra security to keep my foot from slipping off my pedals. Especially on bumps.

The quality is good, but they didn't work for me
The quality is good, but they didn't work for me. They were hard to get my wide shoes into, and then the shoes would slip out too easily. I ended up getting SPD shoes and pedals which I like much better. Wasted my money on the Power Grips. Oh well.
