Great sounding string replacement. Easy on the fingers.
Advise tuning string over a long period of time. I learned the hard way. I had purchased a full set of these strings to replace the steel strings as nylon works better for those just learning but was too eager to get it turned up and broke the thinnest string. This purchase was to replace that string. It tuned fine when I did it slowly and let the instrument set for hours between tightening of the string. Once tuned, it held tune well.

Good strings
They seem to keep stretching forever but they sound good and hold up to my physical playing style.

This is a lot of money for a single string
I'm not happy with this advertising, unless you're paying complete attention the seller is taking advantage of people with an inflated price. Had the price been closer to the actual cost there would be no indifference but by inflating the cost made people (including myself) believe we were receiving a full set six string set.

Very Good Replacement String
I had a set of Rotosound ball-end classical guitar strings on my classical guitar and broke the high E string. Unfortunately, the local music store generally doesn't carry single, ball-end, 028 gauge strings, so I bought one from a very fine Amazon third-party vendor. The D'Addario string holds its tune pretty well and the tone is comparable to the Rotosound. Maybe it's psychological, but I don't think that it's quite as round sounding, but, still, it matches the other strings on my guitar pretty well. I usually turn to D'Addario for steel strings because the price generally is pretty good, the quality is good, and they are U.S. made. Their nylon strings are also American made, by the way. The only reasons that this D'Addario string loses a star in my rating are (1) maybe a touch of thinness in the tone and (2) the white plastic "ball" seems cheap, at least compared with the more conventional metal ball ends. If I had to replace another single string, I would feel perfectly comfortable turning to D'Addarios: their single replacement strings are easy to find from Amazon vendors and other larger on-line music vendors.

Single string only.
Well, I got what i ordered. Next time I need to read the fine print and not assume that i'm getting a set of strings. Quite disappointed when only one string showed up in the package. I would not have bought it for just one string. Who just needs one string?

Good Option for Sometime Classical Players
Long-time steel string player. Just not excited about tying string ends. These are easy and work well.

used for ukulele
I needed an extra thick string for a ukulele to have "Canadian" tuning, or a dropped octave bottom string, and after looking up information online, this fit the bill. It has taken a bit to break in but it works nicely with the other nylon strings on my ukulele.

Disappointed and expensive
Despite the description said it was a single string, that text is very small so that customers are deceived. I think nobody will buy a single string. In addition, the ball end is plastic and not metallic. I found here at a local store in Toronto the set of 3 nylon strings with metallic ball ends for $10. Not recommended.

Good
Did exactly what it was supposed to do - provide a low G string for my concert and tenor ukuleles.

Confezione singola utile
Poter sostituire solo il MI cantino consente di non cambiare l'intera muta che non è propriamente economica. Peccato doverne acqistare 2.
