Works well
This is my second purchase of this product. Last year I made a repair to a broken tile in our guest bathroom. That tile is white and had a hole punched into it by a contractor. After completing the work you cannot see the repair. The second repair last year (from the same kit) was to a tile something heavy was dropped on and the tile shattered. I was able to get major pieces glued in but other areas needed to be filled. That tile was beige and I found the color matching to be a challenge. In the end the match was fairly good. I can see the repair if I go looking for it but it blends in fairly well. This year a bought a kit to repair some shower tiles that were broken when the shower was built decades ago. The breaks were fairly clean and you can’t see the repair even if you look for it.The biggest hurdle for me was color matching when there is a large surface exposure. Other than that the product use was straightforward.

Good product
Will probably work best if you have a simple, solid color of tile to repair. I had a difficult color with several shades and texture, but was still able to get fairly close to the original. The surface appears solid and is certainly an improvement over the damaged area. The instructions were clear and the materials easy to work with although the color mixing chart leaves a bit to be desired. I would recommend the product.

You'll need some patience, but it's a lot less work than new tile
Works as advertised! We had some nicks and cracks in the floor tile in the condo we're preparing to sell. The tile is one color, very light grey. Because it's uniform, and light colored, that made it harder, but the core of the tile was very dark, so even the small chips showed before repair. This product did the trick. It does take some patience. If you have tile that is multicolored, it would probably be much easier. In the first batch, I put a large drop of black dye in the mix, and it was too dark, and no amount of white dye was going to bring it back, so I threw it out. For the second batch, I put a drop of black onto another surface, and then just wiped a little of it onto the mixing tool. I got it almost perfect. However, after it dried, and I put the lacquer on it, it wasn't a good match. Third time was a charm, the chips I repaired with that batch could not be found. The larger crack repairs were visible, but only upon careful inspection. So if I had to do it over with more time on my hands, I would have probably slightly dyed the 3rd batch to make it a perfect match, but no one will notice it even now. I will definitely use this product again in the future, and I will definitely try to install floor tile that isn't one light color but has a marbled effect or something, as that would be much easier to repair. Thanks for offering a $21 product that saved me having to spend $4,000 on new floors for a rental condo we're selling.

Mediocre outcome
Used on granite where there was a chip and crack. This was successful, somewhat. The instructions are not clear how much basic putty to use with the colorant. It was like they made you contact customer support for that detail, which was silly, undesirable- I could not get a good match with the paint shades provided. However I had my own paints to add, and the granite had lots of shades so it blended ok. Outcome was ok because it blends in with the stone but I would say the product was just ok.

A waste of time!!
This product does not live up to its claims. The filler is not very strong, and it is a real chore to try to mix the primary colors in the anything that resembles colors you would find in a normal kitchen or bathroom. I ultimately resorted to using all purpose Bondo, and acrylic paints to try to match the color. Don't waste your time with this product!

Not permanent
This product is fine if you just want a temporary fix but not if you expect it to be a true repair. The putty is essentially the same as spackling paste and can be removed with a sponge and water, whether you tint it or not. The "lacquer" is not a true lacquer either and will not prevent repeated washing or sponging from removing shallow fills. Mixing colors is an art - with practice you can get very close to the color you need. The accessories that came with the kit last one use - the plastic bowl cracked immediately, the brush fell apart. Overall this was not worth the money I paid for it and I had to remove the patches so that I could put a real, harding epoxy-based filler into them.

Simple fix for chipped tile
I accidentally dropped something in my shower. On the way down, it chipped some decorative porcelain tile that's in a band around the shower stall (is that called "chair rail?"). I ordered the tile repair kit from Fortivo. It arrived quickly and in good condition. They had a helpful video showing the repair process, but the video explained how to repair flat tile. I wasn't sure how that would apply to my rounded tile.I messaged Fortivo and Sam answered my query in less than an hour. He explained what I'd need to do. I needed to buy some very high count sandpaper, but he told me exactly what to get and how to use it to gently shape the dried epoxy but not scratch the adjacent tile. The fix was easy. My tile is slightly off-white, but I just used their white epoxy without trying to color match more exactly. You can see it if you know where to look, but otherwise, I don't think someone using my shower would notice the repair. (See my before and after photos)I am very pleased with how quickly Fortivo answered my question, and how they followed up with me the next day to be sure I was happy. I would buy their product again. They provided me with a nice customer experience.
