Update After I mentioned a light humming issue in my review, the company reached out right away to help. First, they sent replacement bulbs and a new control panel, but the humming was still there. Next, they sent a new power panel—which completely fixed the problem. I worked with Emma during the whole process, and she was a pleasure to deal with. Her follow-up was excellent—she even responded immediately when I updated her at 4 a.m. Eastern that everything was finally working! The product itself deserves 5 stars, but their customer service deserves 100. It’s rare these days to find a company with this level of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Highly recommended! Love the fan however when light is on it makes a very loud hum that over time gets irritating. I thought wow what a great company this is and was very impressed. So I did what email said and typed in full refund and never received any answer or reply back. I’m not sure if this was a scam or what but went from happy to disappointed. Installation on this was overall fairly easy. I think the trickiest part was getting the two U shaped sleves not to scratch each other while you push them up where you need them to measure where exactly things will go prior to final installation. Upon initially unboxing the instructions said to test the functionality, so I did that, however testing the motion sensing didn't "A" sound like something I needed to test, and "B" didn't describe how to really get it to work very easily so since everything else worked fine, whisper quiet, we proceeded with the install. Once installed, the motion was infact not working :(. Reaching out to amazon they did offer to do a refund on it even though it was a few days past the refund window. However I asked if the company instead could fix it as we really wanted to keep the unit. The only thing this unit could do better than its advertised to do is turn on automatically when it detects a specific level of heat below [we all can dream]. Upon discussing the issues with the company we did have to provide a great deal of details to identify if this unit was part of a bad batch of units with regards to motion. Upon completing that, they very quickly like almost over night sent a replacement sensor bar, and it was not too hard to swap out. We are so happy with the look, ease of use, and its overal functionality with regards to getting cooking smoke/steam up and out quickly and quietly. It does fit 9' ceilings with a very gracious amount of space between the cook surface and the unit excellent for GAS ranges. Very easy to clean so far.

Great product. Out of the box, installation was not difficult but that is also because I replaced an existing vent. Even if it was on a new wall, I don’t think installation would be an issue for someone who is a bit handy with tools. Removing the protective film was a job for sure. After installing, this works great. It has been about 4 weeks and the fan is quiet, and the flow of air is great. It moves a lot of air at lowest speed and we have mostly used it on 1 or 2 speed while doing a lot of Indian cooking. The hood is large and looks nice and sturdy. The bad - the motion sensor worked for first 10 minutes. It doesn’t matter what I do now, it does not work. The buttons to turn on the light and fan are all touch buttons. You must look at the button and press the right place, and sometime I have to find the right place to press the button. They really should replace it with something else. Other issue is how it changes the speed. You must go linear from speed 1 to 2 to 3 and 4, and then off. So from speed 1 to turn off, you must press the button 4 times. You can hit the power button as well, but that mean next time you need to power on before use it. It’s just bad interface. The best part is how much airflow it handles at a low noise. The filters are high quality and I can put them in dishwasher. I think it is great value for money.

Bought this to replace my old exhaust fan. I did a lot of research about features, installation and quality. I was surprised at the quality of this unit. it's heavy duty steel and solid construction. I did a lot of planning for the installation and it was fairly easy to install. Just make sure you know where your wall studs are. It's powerful and had easy to clean filters. I initially had issues with the usage of the gestures for increasing and decreasing the fan speed. I reached out the support and they were extremely helpful and thorough with there responses. After several messages, I was able to get it to work again. While the fan is not whisper quiet, it is not considering the power. The shutoff timer is extremely convenient . Thanks!

Originally was missing a part, but customer service sent one the same day even though we purchased month ago (building a new home). They were responsive and kind. Product works great and looks amazing in our new log home kitchen.

This 30" iKTCH IKP02 was very easy to install. The manual is very easy to follow, plus there are videos on Youtube that shows how to install it, if you are a visual person (which I found very helpful). This product is very well made and looks great in our kitchen. There are 4-fan speeds and they work like a charm. You can hear and see how well it functions. Cleaning the filters are a cinch! You can either wash them in your dishwasher or spray them with a degreaser and soak them in your sink. They don't need replaced, just need washed. How much easier could it be! We are so happy with our new range hood, and the high-tech motion sensor controls really bring it up a notch...and it also has a remote control to boot...whats not to love about this. We truly highly recommend this product if you are looking for a nice, well made, good quality product without breaking your bank and still get a high quality producrt.

I recently installed this range hood and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance, design, and quiet operation. Lovely looking and works well. However took a star off because it’s deafening loud, can’t ever use it on full strength. Can’t hear yourself talk. Well made though and really makes the kitchen look good.

This is a very stylish but more importantly a functional necessity of our newly renovated kitchen. We also chose this model because it has the 900 CFM airflow capacity which we learned after researching is required to remove strong cooking odors. It was helpful that the chimney comes in two pieces so there is some flexibility to adapt to a given kitchen. I also really appreciated the responsiveness of the vendor so I could consult whether it would fit in my kitchen before purchasing the item. A useful feature of this range hood is the ability to change between the 4 speeds just by waving your hand across the panel so you don't have to touch the fan in case your hands are not clean while cooking. You just have to handle with some care so as to not scratch the stainless steel.

We purchased this product as a replacement for our range hood that need it a fan replacement. Called a company to repair old one and after charging us like 300$ said no parts available. We decided to get a new one but size was an issue at the end we found this one with very similar size , powerful fan, let me tell you I was really surprised with the quality and the after sale service I got from Emma from IKTCH. First the product is very nice looking, price is 1/2 of what you buy in a store anywhere in Canada , delivery was 2 days after order . What really surprised me that when I sent an email to ask for a replacement part I got a reply a day after and I got the part delivered to me by FedEx just 2 days after the reply to my email , implacable customer service specially after sale ..
