Easy to use, If you sweep across an area from different directions you can tell pretty much exactly where your target is, It's not like a Geiger counter or rf type sweeper that gets louder when closing in, just a single beep when you're close to a target.So far the accuracy isn't bad at all, Wich is really nice when it's letting you know your about to dig up likely sharp metal; nails, tin cans etc. It's been great for helping me clean up my yard. Small gold pieces don't read well deeper than 6-8 inches(I tested out of curiosity) but I find copper a foot deep often.(found an extension to my gas lines 15 feet from the house one foot deep, glad I was cautious.)It's nice and light, easy to strap on any pack ( camping, Beach, river fishing) and it has a nice extension range fit for just about anyone. I use it from my hands and knees for cleaning old construction debris, but it also extends comfortably standing at my 6 foot frame.For the price this is a great tool or toy!Yeah I let the kids play with it!

This metal detector works great! I’ve ordered a few different products from Aneken over the past year or so and all of them have lived up to the quality I have come to expect from them. This detector has a few different settings on it, from picking up any kind of metal, all the way to the specific metal like a nickel or gold. It’s super light weight, and has a strap to help hold it close to my arm that helps when using this for extended periods of time. It comes in a box in separate pieces but is super easy to put together or break down for storage if needed. I’ve used this thing a handful of times but haven’t had any luck finding anything good but it’s coming! The shovel that comes with it is an added bonus that makes it easy to dig up your find. If you’re looking for a basic metal detector, I’d check this one out.

I like that it's lightweight and super easy to operate. I am happy with the product but delivery has room for improvement. They put it on wrong doorstep. I couldn't go to my family fourth of July bbq waiting on delivery because I live uptown of highly populated area so can't leave stuff out!! And I even had to knock on doors looking for it!! So needless to say I am not a happy camper!! (But like I said. The product is nice.

Undecided as of now,I have not been able to use the Detector but for approx, 10 mins my yard. Adjust sensitivity, such as how deep and not sure what was making it Detect, but the Detector was hitting on something every two to three steps I would take in various spots of my yard, I live in a small rural town and used it in an area I know no wires were buried. Will update when I figure out how to dial it in better and take it to an actual field.I by no means am I giving a bad review nor saying that I dislike the product, I apologize to the company, as, they felt, I might have disliked and or unhappy with the metal detector, in whichbi received an email. I appalled them for being pro-active with their customers and hopefully within the Company.

Husband and I needed to locate his wedding ring lost by our pool. It is made of tungsten carbide with a finish that blended perfectly with our lawn debris. Then I saw this guy and decided to buy it. Well, I noticed the box was previously opened, and that there had been soil smeared upon the handle. This should have been sold through the warehouse.So anyway, being intelligent literate people we found the ring despite also being noobs. Since I would enjoy finding more rings just generally perhaps as a hobby I will keep this around, and not use it and lie about it like the last person did. I know how to rent things.

Edit this thing failed after just a few hours of use. Junk.Got this for my dad for his birthday. He likes to go to the park and use it on the shore of the lake. So far he hasn't found anything special but he has found quite a few different things. I played with it a little when I have it to him. It's pretty neat I can see how he finds it entertaining.

I dont usually write reviews but I have too for this metal detector. It is awesome!! Easy to assemble clear instructions easy too use. Im new to treasure hunting and have been amazed by this product. First time out found a couple old quarters a old penny and a horse shoe nail aling with the normal junk. Today took it up by a old mining town found a old knife a hatchet and a railroad spike. The spike was 17 inches down and had small tree roots over it. The shovel is not of high quality but over all a great product. Id recomend for anyone who wanted one and im going to buy two more for my son and daughter.

My wife thought she lost a gold Anniersary ring I gave her, so I got this. While we awaited delivery she found it. Then I lost my wedding band. Thought it was gone forever but she talked me into trying this thing around the yard. It got a hit in the gold range out near our hay barn and I was thrilled that it led us right to my wedding ring that was ground into the dirt a few inches under a lot of old hay.
