This was easy to install on our front door.We got it because our 3yr old starting opening the front door and we were worried that he could get hurt. Now even though he tried he can't go anywhere.Not sure how good this will be for any other situation but for this it did the trick!

I have a two year old son and he has learned to open doors! As a mother I constantly worry about about being distracted for a minute and having something happen to my son. When I saw for the first time him opening our front door my anxiety went off! I quickly got on Amazon and ordered this lock for extra safety and it has worked wonderfully 💕 highly recommend it!

I wanted extra safety, because we can't always see who's at the door thru the peak hole. Works great. I even bought one for my daughter to use.

I really appreciate the thickness and build quality of this lock. Very easy to install, but I did replace the packaged screws with ones that were longer since the ones that come with it are quite small. Would have given it a 5 star if it had come with longer screws.

Used this to create a simple panic room in my house, can lock myself in my bathroom if needed, kinda like insurance, hope and pray to never use, but it's there if I need. Looks great, not obnoxious, but kinda aesthetically pleasing for such a utility item.

Purchase these as a great aesthetic look versus a lock chain with the slider, using it to install a pie on the door to keep the babies out of areas since they are already learned how to unlock the childproof paddle mechanisms. Unfortunately, the doors I purchased for All swing into the room, which makes these absolutely useless. Make sure you have the right door swing before you make this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. The last one I bought was a different brand, but nearly identical. That one would stick when trying to unlatch it. And it was loud. This one unmatched perfectly, and extremely quietly.
