Pocket Book of Catholic Prayers

Nice pocket sized prayer book. It contains all the prayers I grew up with plus many more for daily prayers and specific occasion prayers. I love how it is laid out, color photos, and how it is divided into sections. Of special interest to me was the How to Say the Rosary section. I have always had the prayers down; however, hard for me to remember the order and name of each Mystery. This prayer book lays it out in an easy to follow step by step format for easy reference. Easy to carry in a purse, pocket, etc. Glad I found it.

This prayer book comes with a flexible, durable cover, in a handy size so it easily fits in a pocket or purse. The print is very easy on the eyes. The prayer book is great for any Catholic plus it's also an excellent prayerbook for those completing the RCIA program as it contains all the standard Catholic prayers plus instructions on how the pray the Rosary, prayers to Blessed Mother, prayers before and after Holy Communion, prayers from the gospels, epistles, and the psalms along with prayers for Lent, Easter, Advent, Christmas and Ordinary time. It also has the plan for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. There are also many beautiful color pictures. All in all, it's a very nice prayer book for a nice price.

This book has a great selection of prayers and it looks very nice. It is sturdy for a paperback, and it has large print for the elderly and visually impaired reader. The pictures are nice and pertinent to the prayers. It breaks down the Mass in a nice way for a new or returning Catholic like myself. A few more prayers would have been nice, but it is a pocket size book.

I am new to the Catholic faith and this little book is exactly what I needed. Being raised Protestant, I have struggled with learning a "new way" to pray. The Pocket Book of Catholic Prayers has been an enormous help; so much so that I ordered the Pocket Book of Novenas and the Pocket Book of Catholic Devotions. If you are a new convert like myself, I would highly recommend these books!

Love the content of the mass and prayers for many occasions plus how to pray the rosary. Just missing the prayer to St Michael the Archangel.

This little book is well made, nicely illustrated and easy to read. More importantly, in it, I have found all of the prayers that I was hoping to find, and many that were new to me. I keep it handy, whether to read an old standby or to find something fitting for a specific situation. Some have complained that pages are wasted on a description of the mass, but I found that valuable and interesting. And even if you’re not interested in that, it doesn’t take away from the rest of the content. Highly recommend.

This book is concise but wonderful. It includes a basic synopsis of the mass, followed by lots and lots of prayers. Daily prayers, morning prayers, night prayers, confession prayers, prayers before communion, prayers after communion, prayers for every day of the week, prayers for the liturgical seasons, etc.; it covers everything! A small, portable book that is useful anywhere and everywhere.

Good companion

I am beyond happy with this product. The cover is lovely and the illustrations on the inside are lovely and link in with the Prayers. It is also has a lovely explanation of the Mass. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who is brushing up on some Prayers, is just curious about the Roman Catholic Faith or like myself discerning for the Sacrament of Holy Orders. A late review to an item, but it is excellent and concise. Catholics of all kinds will appreciate this collection, either Roman or Anglican.
