These are really decent sandals. They were a lightning deal (I don’t normally buy footwear online – unsure of how they’d fit), but these sandals had free returns. I noticed that there are actually 2 styles. Some of the color choices have a backstrap that’s a velcro strap with a buckle, giving you the ability to adjust it. The other options have a plain backstrap with NO adjustability. I ordered the Brown (with velcro backstrap) and the Lt Brown (with plain backstrap). The fit was very good, but I did find that I really liked the Brown with the adjustable backstrap. You can set the tension you like with the elastic laces, then you can put the sandals on and take them off by loosening the velcro backstrap (no need to re-adjust the laces). I found this was much easier than taking them on and off with the fixed backstrap, where you kind of need to loosen and retighten the laces when taking them on or off. I am keeping the Brown ones and returning the Lt Brown ones. I included the product photos showing the 2 different backstraps. BE AWARE OF THIS DIFFERENCE WHEN PURCHASING.

When these arrived ,, they looked average,,, but well -average,,, so send them back ! However I made a mistake ,,, i put them on --A game Changer !!,These sandals are asian thinking at its best ,,then some!!!!!Sandals are China's mainstay for everyday use , even in cold weather, dirt , rain, sand, occur daily in China ,often a Chinese person, has only 2 pairs of shoes , us americans we have plenty. So shoes in China are very well put to test daily and often!!.First ,, to put on- the ankle thong is buckled to the shoe body strongly , has velcro, will adjust nicely to all ankle sizes.Good feature- easy to use . The MAIN FEATURE ---the sandal laces !! After your foot is inside ,pull the laces upthen slide the lace clip down by pushing the top lever in ,,, then simply release!! YET -,,here's the kicker ,, more well designed than we think--- as the remaining lace loop is already attached to the sandal as NOT to allow flopping , tangles, untying !! Asian thinking at its best! Do not cut off , once used to these , Wonderful!!The soles are comfortable . yet UNIQUE !! In Asia Everything has a function!! THE SOLES HAVE MANY FUNCTIONS !At the beach ,, sand is our pest , more so than not,, these sandals allow sand and water in, and OUT!!The soles as you can see in the picture ,are UNIQUE , give the barefeet traction ,,with out tearing your skin off,same time ,, get excess sand -OUT! Water exits nicely , taking sand with it , if any remaining sand--- ,soles haveseveral inside designs for sand removal ,, simply foot in water , move feet around--good by sand,,next,designed so that just walking gets sand OUT! WoW! Soles are somewhat orthopedic , not overly, man made material,,very well attached to shoe body. Whats unique the soles have several designs for sand, dirt ,quick removal,traction for bare feet, allows water in and out nicely!! Look at the pictures , Unique!! Gotta love the Chinese for this product -outstanding !!Front rubber bumper ,, flexible ,, firm, does its job well has enough meat to amply cover frontal area, no stubbedtoes here !! Overall fair looks,,but super designed,, for every day hiking ,, beach ware,,!!Thanks China and Amazon!!

Needed sandal for kayaking and hiking. This fit the bill at a good price. Size half size up for comfort. Ordered size 8 and 7.5. Son wears 7.5. 7.5 was snug whereas 8 gave wiggle room. Kept size 8 and ready to go. Also comfortable. Note these are European sized 39=7.5; 40=8. Probably why a little small.

I have previously owned 2 pair of Keens of very similar design. I find these to be slightly lighter, but otherwise quite comparable. I ordered a larger size based on this site's recommendations and could have gone with my regular size. Also, the adjustment cord tends to flop around. In spite of those concerns I really like them. They appear to be well made and I expect them to last several years. At 1/3 the price of Keens I consider them a good bargain!

Not the highest of quality, as in they will not compare with $100+ models, but they are just fine for my use. The sole is a bit sticky on my skin, but for this kind of rubber/plastic material I expected that. The fit is very nice and I have pretty wide feet. I didn't need to cinch them down much to make them fit me right. They seem durable and I will give them a good workout this summer while camping. I will update after they have had more use and see if they hold up well. I'm happy with them.

I like the feel and fit of these sandals! My only dislike (which I didn't noticed while viewing pictures of before purchasing) was how the laces, when coming out of the top lace holes, then go down to where the laces started, and have a 'clip' that fastens them to where the laces began! I just cut the laces with scissors and used a "club that was an extra set from my sons shoes to fasten then together about an inch from where they come out of the top lace holes!

I like the look and feel of the sandal. I've been wearing it for a number of weeks and it looks like new. My only negative was the way it was packaged...or rather not packaged. It was in a plastic bag and arrived flattened out. No box, nothing inside the sandal to maintain shape. I suspect they're shipped from china in this manor to be able to squish as many as possible into a container. Even though I've been wearing them for a while, they still lean to the side when left overnight. However, as I said earlier, they fit and look normal once your foot is inserted.

They fit better than expected 46cm fits my 12.5 size feet pretty well. The seem good enough I can use them on a hiking trip for when I need to cross some water and don't want my real shoes to get all soggy. (I have not done this yet so I could be in for a surprise still)
