This product was incredibly easy to set up and use. I had heard of this company before but never needed their product until now. My wife wanted better lighting in the kitchen, especially over the countertop where she preps meals. After trying several alternatives, I decided to give this a shot—and it turned out to be the perfect solution. The strip comes with a strong adhesive that made installation effortless. I was able to line it under the cabinets and even make a second pass for extra brightness. For the price and quality, this product exceeded my expectations

As part of what’s quickly becoming a full Govee ecosystem in my life, these white LED strips are another solid win. The light output is fantastic — bright, crisp, and adjustable without the weird bluish tint you sometimes get from cheap LEDs. I originally grabbed these for home use, but they’ve earned a spot in my travel gear, too.When you're in a dark hotel room trying to hop on a video call, bad lighting can make you look like a low-budget cryptid. Attached them to my vanity mirror and it worked perfectly. It’s so bright and looks like it’s built in. I keep it plugged in and I attached the control button to the side of my desk so I can turn it on and off whenever. It’s cool light only but you can turn the brightness up and down (I love that). The wires don’t get in the way and they’ve lasted me a long time , no peelings or lights missing. Good bang for buck situation. I also forgot I bought another pair and hung them on the outside of my vanity area.

Works great. The dimmer retains all settings ( on/off - brightness ) when power is removed and then restored. I have these connected to a smart wi-fi plug and my home automation can turn these on and off and the dimmer hardware the lights use retains the on/off state and brightness level.I found that a: "LightingWill LED Connectors 2Pin 8mm" power cable will work with these if you need to cut / trim these and have some led strips left over. I cut this in half ( on one of the cut here lines ) and used the 2pin, 8mm adapter to supply power to the rest of the string. For these white only, 2 pin (+/-) lights, the 8mm adapters work great. You'll need a 2nd 12v power brick and another dimmer.. so it might be cheaper to buy a new set of GOVEE lights, but if you want to cut and reuse the rest you can.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The lights themselves are perfect 3000k high output. The diodes are dense enough that the beam it generates appears to be a continuous strip of lights, not individual cells like others. Only complaint is that it is not abundantly clear that these CANNOT be controlled by Bluetooth or WiFi via the Govee app. I had to get two WiFi plugs so that I can control these remotely. Quality:

First off, this is NOT a smart device, it is simply a white LED plug in light strip with adjustable brightness. I knew this going in. I was simply in search of adding lighting to a closet that never had it before. There is a power outlet in the closet, so I was able to plug it in there. I ran the light strip around the interior door casing trim, using Blue Tack to secure it - at 16 ft, it was perfect for the double door sized opening, where the outside edge dimensions of the door casing it's mounted to measuring about 46" wide and 81" on each side.I added an Aqara Zigbee window/door sensor to the closet's double doors, and a TP-Link Kasa smart plug to the included power cord, and set the brightness as high as it goes. Using a Home Assistant automation, when either door is opened, the light strip powers on, flooding the closet with daytime bright white light. Since the strip runs along the outside perimeter of the interior door casing trim, it does not blind you, but instead reflects nicely against the closet interior, lighting it up beautifully.This was reasonably priced at $15 at time of purchase (7/25). A good buy IMO.

I definitely recommend the lights. I ordered these to put around the top of my craft room walls. They work great! The brightness is fantastic. I have all the light is need now. The little remotes are a plus. I just put them on the wall next to my light switch for ease of entering my room.

These lights have been great for a lithophane backlight from a 3D printer. It's easy to cut at the designated cut points and the brightness control is a nice touch. Didn't need any smart features for this specific project, so the simplicity was a nice touch for it. The adhesive also seems to have stuck pretty well to the walls of the 3D print.
