As of DEC 2021 this listing is for the secular version of “All Year Round.” Probably a pro for some and a con for others. Content is great, so 5 stars. The listing itself is 1 star.

Better than I Thought at First
I've owned this book for about a year now and I had to change my review. At first I was going to return the book but I decided to keep it when I noticed how often I refer to it for seasonal ideas. I don't often make projects directly from the book, but I usually get some good starter ideas. If I had to choose one Waldorf-y style book, however, I would choose Earthways by Carol Petrash.

Great crafts for waldorf festivals of the year!
This is my favorite waldorf-inspired festival book. The crafts included are do-able and clearly explained. I love that templates are included. As Christian waldorf-inspired homeschoolers, we really appreciate the background information provided for each festival - a discussion of its history and meaning. And, for non-Christians, I'd like to note that most of these festivals have their origin in pagan rites, so don't let the word "Christian" in the title scare you off. This book does not hit you over the head with religion!!

Love this Title
We incorporate a small amount of Waldorf into our homeschool routine, and this is a wonderful resource to do so! Full of detailed instructions, celebration ideas, and more, this is a must for any Waldorf homeschooler!

This book is amazing, especially if you are someone who is interested in Waldorf education. We are homeschooling using the EarthSchooling curriculum and it has come in handy multiple times already.

Amazing!
Just what I was looking for! Very well written and explained. Personal thoughts and explanations on why rhythm is important for us, especially for children, and how to implement it in our daily life. Very practical guide on seasonal arts & crafts for kids, also a few recipes. It's a great book and love the personal touch.

Heavily Christian book
This book is heavily Christian bias... and I wish that was advertised!! I raise my children as Pagans so when I see a title of All year round festivals and seasons I came to the wrong conclusion I have other books that show festivals and how people around the world from different religions celebrate them which have a open and non bias narrative, I will try to return it, if not I'll donate it... if you are Christian you would probably enjoy this book but another negative the whole inside has no colour so it's not very inviting.

One of our favourite books
I love this book and it is my second copy after taking it to my mother's house - she loved it so much she kept it! It is a wonderful resource for families, especially those with children going to Waldorf School or doing a Waldorf style of homeschooling. You don't have to be a Waldorf family to enjoy the annual traditions in this book, though. They obviously have a very European tilt, but we enjoy learning about those traditions which are new to us and seeing their recommendations for celebrating the more familiar traditions. There are recipes and crafts instructions too. We love it!

Bit too religious...
I was very excited about this book and it does look like there’s a lot of good crafts, games and songs inside. However there’s also a lot of religious stuff. If that’s your thing, then you’ll love it - it’s not my thing. It’s also incredibly focused on England (not UK - very little mention of the rest of us!). Again, that could be your thing; it’s not mine. Finally there does seem to be some misinformation printed in the book, for instance the story of the origin of April Fool’s Day is just not true. I will be returning this and looking for something more inclusive and informative.

A lovely book for family life.
I wasn't familiar with Waldorf/Steiner education before I bought this book, but I really love this book and it's approach to nature and the seasons. There are lots of books aimed at things to do with children and ways to celebrate different festivals, but this book has such a gentle, almost old fashioned feel. There is no commercialism in this book, which can be found in so many things aimed at children. I would recommend this book to friends.

A wonderful book
At first, because I had bought "the children's year" previously, I was a little disappointed to see that there not much craft to do. But once I really got to read the book, I found an amazing source of information for each special celebration of the year, from its origin to how people celebrate it with songs, recipes, stories. I felt enriched by this book.
