Perfect gift for everyone.
Had mine a year now. First used in a factory where I had to kneel or move around on concrete and rough grating. I would wear these for hours at a time. Now I use them to do house work, or when I have to do anything with my car. Honestly I almost look for an excuse to wear these. I've worn them over jeans, sweatpants, with shorts, bare skin etc.Pros:- Very comfortable. I can drop to my knees while wearing these (for obvious reasons don't recommend.)- Does not limit mobility one bit. Actually enables and increases mobility!- Simple, easy to adjust elastic bands give a firm and comfortable fit which stays in place for long durations.- Very well constructed. (I was initially concerned about how the plastic hooks might hold up, but I've been wearing these a lot, for a while now, and no problems.)- Perfect for chores around the house.- Perfect for factory work if kneeling is required.-Perfect for automotive work, if you are inclined to do any work on your car.Cons:-Can get sweaty if worn for long durations or in heat. (I wore these over jeans for hours at a time. The front pads are very comfortable and supportive, but not breathable. This is weird and inconsequential but its likely the front of your knees might sweat. For me it was never a big deal, and there are worse places to sweat than the front of your knee? I guess.)(I could imagine that if a person were extraordinarily hard on these, that a pair would last at bare minimum a year. But I'm talking rough, rough work, on abrasive and unforgiving surfaces.)

best on the market, buy with confidence.
These are hands down the best knee pads I have ever owned. Do no listen to the negative comments these other people are saying about these knee pads. people are stupid and you have to take these reviews with a grain of salt, as it seems everyone wants and expects so much for next to nothing. well, you're about to get it when you buy these knee pads.I have been pouring concrete ( down on my knees) for 13 years. When looking for knee pads, you are looking for;1.) comfort while kneeling and standing. 2.) straps placed above and below the back of the knees so that they do not cut off the circulation into the back of your knees. 3.) Thin straps that do not make your legs or knees sweat. 4.) sleek, stylish look. These are so comfortable that when you put them on loosely, they not only stay in place and do not slide around/up & down your legs, but you forget they're even on you!The only thing that I would recommend changing on these pads would be the clips for the straps, as they are just thin plastic.. I would use metal clips and add metal around the slots that they slide into, so it won't break with age and wear & tear.. I am going to be reinforcing mine with JB Weld. The plastic on these pads are thin, BUT! they seem to be pretty durable. The padding is also very thin as well, BUT! it is enough padding for me. I have been down on my knees all this week doing a tile floor and my knees do not hurt at all now, or during work. keeping in mind that I have been on my knees doing concrete for 13 years and I have a bum right knee that aches everyday when squatting and climbing, these pads were good enough for me and my knees that I felt absolutely no discomfort while wearing them. Buy with confidence.

Game-changer
I had some very old standard knee pads that were in need of replacement. I decided to give these a try, and they have made a huge difference. I have used them many times already - mostly landscaping which has me kneeling on concrete and mulch. First, the pivoting knee joint prevents the knee pad from sliding down and requiring constant adjustment. This also prevents the straps from sliding down and irritating that back of the knee. At first I felt like the fit was a big snug, but they seemed to have loosed up enough that they are quite comfortable (I have worn them constantly for hours at a time). The only aspect I was unsure of was the hook-ins for the strap. Both the hooks and the holes on the pad are plastic - no metal hook or metal reinforced hole. However, the material appears to be ABS-type plastic which tends to be very strong. After many uses I think they will hold up fine. Last, the pads have a rubberized potion that keeps you from sliding all over the place should you be working on a smooth surface. Overall these are great, and I wish I had purchased them sooner.

Great knee pads
These are great, they fit nice and are comfortable for me. We are doing a lot of grating at work and these knee pads are definitely getting a beating. I do iron work so if you know anything about the trade you know. I will be purchasing some more when i need to. Only complaint is that the plastic clip feels fragile and only comes with one replacement. Over good product.

Awesome pads!
Great pads use them in construction. Good for kneeling on rough terrain like rocks dirt concrete etc. they do have a break in period so keep that in mind when you first buy them. Also they stay in place really well.

Best Knee Pads Out There!
I love these knee pads! The articulation is key! This is the second set I purchased, because after 7 years of regular metal detecting I termporarily lost track of one of my original pads, and there's no way I'm detecting without them. Also great for being in the water, protecting my knees when prospecting. The weak point of these pads are the straps. Like any elastic strap, they eventually wear out. I've found replacment material, but that doesn't last terribly long (nowhere close to what the originals do). I wish that there were some sort of strap that lasted as long as the rest of the knee pads do.
