Kopi Luwak (Civet) Coffee - 4 Ounces - Medium Roast

Very good coffee. Mellow yet bold. I couldn't afford to drink this all of the time but I enjoyed it as a bucket list kind of thing. I invited a friend over to enjoy it and he liked it as well. Also had fun with the family on facebook relating to my son's comment that "Poo brew makes you brew poo".

Tasty, but not worth the money

This coffee is off the hook. Fantastic taste with a kick like you can't imagine. Great product.

Strong and smoky flavor as all Indonesian coffees but there is a wild animal smell to the beans and coffee that others may find alluring but not I. It smells like animal urine. I passed it around to my friends so they can say they tried it and some liked it ok but at $130 a pound and with the strange taste I'll pass. Even if I got it for free, no thanks. But I am just one person. Try it. You might like it but I suggest buying the smallest among among several people. You can always order more if you like it.

The coffee was good but not great as they advertise. Way to expensive. In my opinion this product is way over sold as to its quality.

"Kopi luwak, or civet coffee, refers to the beans of coffee berries once they have been eaten and EXCRETED by the Asian palm civet." Is it really high class to eat poop with your coffee beans? These poor animals are stolen from their natural habitats, forced to live in tiny cages, and are driven mad by their barren existence eating and pooping out coffee beans for human consumption. Ask yourself these questions: Do you really want to eat the poop of an abused animal? Would you eat your own dog's poop? Would you eat your own cat's poop? If not, why would you pay for the high class experience of eating another animal's poop? DO NOT BUY OR EAT THE POOP OF AN ABUSED ANIMAL! It's improper, unethical, and plain disgusting.
