Home-made pasta; life is good
This was a gift for my teenaged grandson. I've used the same brand unit for years. It is really easy to use. My grandson loved it and had fun fixing dinner for all. Pasta recipes are abundant, and this pasta maker makes two pastas, basic spaghetti or fettuccini width noodles. Realistically, the process is fairly quick once you understand how it works (and it is not complicated). The process can be sort of zen-like when you get into it. Add a glass of Chianti and life is good.

Perfect for Pasta Lovers
I love homemade pasta and this guide offers a treasure trove of information on how to make your own pasta. The author gives you instructions on how to make thin noodles, thick noodles, flavored noodles, etc. Plus there are tons of recipes for spaghetti and other pasta dishes that made my mouth water while reading them. I'm definitely going to try out more than a few recipes.

Great little guide to pasta making it is really that easy!
I take people to Italy to learn how to learn the language and make pasta. I also own a Marcato Pasta maker and love it. The information is pretty basic... but then making pasta from scratch is pretty easy and very basic. Not much to it. The Marcato maker is a great tool to get thin layers to create various kinds of pasta shapes. The recipes are interesting and give one inspiration to get out of a rut... I look forward to trying them. Just a note Alfredo sauce doesn't exist in Italy.

Very Nice
Love this pasta cookbook. I use it with my stand mixer pasta cutter. I have tried many of the recipes and am very happy with the results.

Great book to get you started
Perfect book to guide me in use of the pasta machine. I like that the recipes included tell you what pasta dough to use with the pasta dough instructions in the front. Would have loved more pictures but other than that it’s very informative and helpful.

Great book for pasta lovers!
I love Julia Stefano’s recipe book.I bought a Marcato Pasta maker before my Italian mother in law came to visit a couple of years ago. She uses it when she is here to everyone’s great delight, but when she leaves, the pasta maker stays untouched. That is about to change! I am not a very accomplished chef, but as I read Julia Stefano’s book, -with its beautiful illustrations and detailed instructions, I feel inspired to try out all these recipes. They look authentic and yet possible for me to do.-Ravioli, spaghetti, lasagna, classic egg pasta dough, spinach pasta dough… all sort sorts of pasta dough…and a variety of recipes for sauces…I cannot wait to get started! I have learned from my Italian mother in law that it can be deceptively hard to make the perfect dough, so I have avoided making fresh pasta…but this book shows me how to get it right through thorough step by step instructions.I recommend this book!

A great and valuable resource for making homemade pasta
I purchased this book to help me learn everything I needed to make homemade pasta. My machine is similar, but not this brand, but it was still very useful to my needs. It really helped me understand the how to make the different types of pasta and the best ingredients to use as it walked me through the steps to make the best pasta my family has ever tasted. I highly recommend giving this book a try.

Not what I expected
I'm a foodie, and that's what drew me to this book. I was expecting to find new recipes, and I did to an extent. However, I also found partial recipes and a lack of pictures.
