Works perfectly to connect a microphone to a keyboard amp XLR input. My son has a guitar voicebox (like Peter Frampton made famous) and he needed to mic the output of the tubing (requiring a second amp) and this worked like a champ.

Work as advertised
I bought these because I bought some inexpensive powered speakers that didn't have a 1/4 inch line in. This solves my issue. I can now plug in my bass or keyboard to the powered speaker using a typical instrument cable. These are not for stereo application, not sure why someone would think that. They are TS (mono) only.

Overall Good with One Minor Issue
We are using this to run a Roland keyboard through a small portable PA system. The sound quality is ok but inexplicably we now receive a local radio station playing through this channel that doesn’t occur if we use a standard quarter inch instrument jack. Unfortunately our PA only has one quarter inch and we need it for a lavalier microphone. Just be aware that if using outdoor as we are you might need a better shielded cable.
