I bought one of these 10 or 12 years ago for my Edison string lights in the backyard. I live in the Mojave Desert, so you know how tough it was to have lasted so long. The little remote made it very convenient for instant light back there. Skulking coyotes don't like the night lighting up around them when they're out looking for small pets. Effective and well built product... 100% recommend.

Just sharing. Purchased this product just over a year ago to run my dust collector unit in my shop. It stopped working this week so I'm buying another to replace the first one. The first one worked well during this time period. Hopefully this next one will last longer than 13 months.

This is such a bad product. Don’t waste your hard earned $14 on this piece of junk.Here’s what you get. A plain brown box shipped from China then shipped from Amazon. No real presentation unboxing it. The shell of the plug is solid and sturdy. Honestly I feel like they spent the entire manufacturing budget on the plug housing because they don’t want to get sued for burning someone’s house down. Problem is the remote is absolute junk. The buttons can stick within the first week and in six months rattle rattle after it drops off the Velcro mount in my pickup truck to operate my motor gate.Now I don’t have a gate remote. I had to call a locksmith.Don’t use this thing for anything mission critical if you do buy it. But know that this is the cheapest most rubbish remote set on the market. There’s other Chinese market systems I purchased that worked for years of use and accidental washes.The older model was discontinued in favor of this trash.Thanks for the terrible product.
