Nice paper!
I’ve heard wonderful things about these little sketchbooks. It’s so hard to find a 100% cotton CO sketchbook on Amazon that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Thought I’d sketch my art supplies on the first two pages (why is the first page of a sketchbook so daunting?) loved the texture….wish there was a bit more tooth on the page but regardless still lovely paper. The A6 fits perfect in my small bag I use for plein air and urban sketching. Can’t wait to fill this baby up! Nice thing is you can also paint the cover!

Amazing brushes amazing quality
This watercolor sketchbook was recommended to me by another artist and let’s just say this will be the only brand of watercolor paper I’ll be buying from here on out.

This is the best watercolor journals I've found! Worth it.
This is one of the only 100% cotton watercolor sketchbooks I've found and the best I've found to date... I love that you can paint on both sides of the paper. Paper is thick and durable. Not sure why they would make a white cover for dirty artist hands tho. lol I guess you can customize with acrylic paint. I finished the A5 cold press a few months ago, I've been trying to finish up another watercolor sketchbook I dislike but don't think I can take anymore bad paper. I'll be getting the bigger A4 this time. I do wish it wasn't so expensive for a sketchbook but considering it has good quality paper & can paint on both sides, it's worth it.If your a beginner watercolor painter, for $25 to $35 I highly recommend this and getting use to painting on 100% cotton paper if your serious about it plus you can paint on both sides. Then when you try something like Arches or Fabriano there wont be so much of a learning curve. I wish this was around when I started.

High Quality, but at a price.
This is an excellent sketchbook and just what I have been looking for. The paper is 100% cotton, which until very recently, was a rare thing in a watercolor sketchbook. Hahnemuhle has recently released sketchbooks that are 100% cotton paper and I am looking forward to using those as I love the new Collection paper from Hahnemuhle.Having said all that, these sketchbooks are expensive. I will not be selling anything from my sketchbooks and after they are full there will probably be limited opportunity to share and view them. So, it's really about what type of paper you want to paint on when you are sketching. For me, it is worth the extra money to have excellent paper, regardless of whether it will have limited utility after I am done with the sketchbook. But if you do not care about the quality of the paper you paint on, or if the cost is a bit strong, there are plenty of reasonable options available.I will be replacing my sketchbook with a new Etchr, or the previously mentioned Hahnemuhle... I'm a bit a paper hoarder (and don't get me started on paints!)

Not perfect, but best watercolor sketchbook I've found so far
It's a bit pricey, but it's 100% cotton and behaves like it for the most part. Handles watercolor well, but its not perfect. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is, the handling of watercolor is just a bit off. For reference, my favorite watercolor paper is Legion, which I consider the perfect paper (I like it even better than Arches). Compared to Legion, the paper in this book is just slightly off. I only say that to give you an idea of what I like. But that said, I filled up a sketchbook and ordered another. I just really love the concept of having a watercolor sketchbook, plus this behaves quite well enough for me, so this does the job until something better is on the market.

This paper is AMAZING... as good as Arches! I highly recommend!
I've always used Arches Cold Press Watercolor blocks, but I wanted a journal to help me keep my paintings in sequence and in one place. Being used to great quality 100% cotton watercolor paper, I was hesitant about buying a different brand than what I always used, but I really wanted a journal, so I decided to give Etcher a try since it is 100% cotton, and has great reviews. I’m so glad I did!!!The quality of this paper is AMAZING...it rivals Arches! This paper takes huge amount of water and can take a beating! No pilling occurs, not even when I scrub it over an over, and regardless of how many washes I apply...this is excellent quality paper in an amazing journal! I paint on the front and back of each page without the paper buckling or warping, it truly is AMAZING!!!Another great thing about this journal is that the cover is made out of white cotton canvas which can be painted and/or decorated any way you wish.As you can see in the pictures I posted, I used the inside cover of this journal as a swatch of my watercolors because as you probably already know, watercolors look and react different depending on the brand and type of paper used. Since the inside cover is made of the same watercolor paper as the journal having the swatch readily available on the inside cover is very helpful.

Good but a couple flaws im not big on, but it might be user error lol
So all in all it works well with most of the mediums i have used in it but i will say 2 things that bug me the most is 1.) Pencil graphite smudges sooooo easily and 2.) Almost all my erasers except my kneeded one tears the paper so easily no matter what type or how lightly i use them, and the pencil lines will still b very faint and i cant do anything about it unless i were to erase again and take the chance of rubbing the paper too much... Idk if its just me who has this problem or what but im not too happy with those too problems as i do like to do an undersketch and erase mistakes without ruining the paper quality or leaving a smudge i cant get rid of.

Nice but pricey!
A nice little watercolour sketchbook with quality cold pressed paper but not without a hefty price tag

Precioso y maravilloso para pintar
Me encantó la cubierta dura y con tela. El papel es 100% algodón y se siente la diferencia para pintar con acuarela, aún con otros papeles de algodón como Strathmore o Fabriano. Súper volvería a comprar.

What's not to love!
The paper is great.1. Colours turn up brilliant2. Paper attracts pigment in ample quantity2. It stays wet for longer, giving more time to manipulate the paints.4. Layering works great.5. Texture is just right. Not too smooth or too rough.6. Just the right size to carry along and paint. It comes beautifully bound and great cotton fabric cover that makes one want to open the pages and just go on painterly adventures

Good but expensive.
Have only used this item once but it seems to be very good quality. Had this recommended but will try and save some money to buy the next size up when I need another one

Will be buying more of this brand. Well made, great paper, definitely the best of all the brands I have tried. Bit expensive, but worth it.
