Tough and rugged are the main characteristics of the Stickshift boot. These boots provide unequalled comfort and durability thanks to its Goodyear Welted construction and use of quality leather uppers.

Great boots
Had quite a few pairs of Cat boots down the years. Bought this pair as my last pair were knackered after 4-5 years of daily wear for work. Weren't worn on building site, but boots were required to visit building sites, so rather than having to change footwear throughout the day, I bought these. Very comfortable, good quality as they last well, they look smart, they are a true fit and they are a good price

Look good, feel nice, time will tell how durable they are.
Comfortable right out of the box. Pair is 400g lighter than the Cat classic style Colorado boots (based on UK 11). Leather feels good quality and they seem well made. I hope the reduced weight is not due to hollow molded lugs in the sole tread which may wear down to let water in but so far so good. Decent comfort and quality for the price.

Nice boot (a bit on the large side, but comfortable)
I have previously owned width: wide CAT boots (see review: CAT Footwear Men's Bryant Lace Up Boot) which fit perfectly so bought the same size (UK 10) in this Stickshift model. I like to wear shoes with a bit of wiggle room but these are a little roomier than even I would like. They are still very comfortable though and look great. I think the smaller size (UK 9) would be too small so I think it's just down to the 'work boot' style which I can live with. I might try wearing thicker socks for example.

Comfortable from the start
Very comfy from the first moment, quite wide fitting (which I need). These feel strong and look good with a pair of jeans. Wearing them in the rain, I noticed that the leather absorbs rainwater, and they become damp on the outside after a while and feel heavier (as is normal with this type of leather). After treating these with a waterproofing leather cream, they now repel water, but the colour of the boots is darkened somewhat.

Good.value for money
For hard trades work, 6 months before they start to go at the heels, but they are excellent value for money, my second pair now, comfortable a d not bad looking once broken in. Good boots for the price.

Excellent solid boot
Bought these to replace cheaper versions of the same thing which just don't last. This boot is far more sturdy, with a substantial sole and good leather uppers. Lacing is easy with the hook fastenings and the lining is comfortable. While I've stated these are moderately large, I'd suggest that they are only slightly large. I take a size 8 and find these to be just slightly roomy but with a pair of thick socks, it isn't an issue. I would imagine a 7 will be too small.

Bad quality
The shoes from the seller was not what expected. The Cat stickshift boots are supposed to be working leather boots. Although, with the first rains the inside was wet and the respond fromt he seller was that the leather is not a waterproof material..In the end I returned the goods (after I have wear them as they where not ever water resistand and a bit a rain would go through) and they declined to give me a refund. Like how should I know that the boots are going to get wet with the rain if I do not use them. Finally the bad quality can be seen even in the interior as the logos and everything disappeared after the first use. My brother has the same one and has comple different experience making me think that these may not even be originals

Not great Boots
Boots are very stiff and tight width wise, do not appear as good quality as other Cat boots I have had in the past. The leather seems to be very smooth and cheap looking as if leather coated ?
