Regardless of coming out of harvard or not, this book is convoluted and just flat out confusing. There is some things that make sense but there is no flow, poor organization and no access to practice question answers unless teachers give you the code (otherwise you have no idea if you got them right until you get to class or ask the professor). You end up reading blocks and blocks of text with references to tables and graphs on other pages, so you jump around a lot. Not spaced out well enough and stupid key terms are highlighted rather than the more important concepts. Just terrible. Ban this book.

This text was required for collegiate course, and it provide the needed material to successfully complete the course. I was satisfied with how easy it was to read.

This text book is ok, it is pretty dry and boring but it gives you the information needed. This is part of my class requirement so I did not have a choice. I would recommend just renting it.

This textbook is considered the latest, the greatest, state-of-the-art, and is used by Harvard. It is worth every minute you spend reading it. However, some of the later chapters can be confusing regarding the use of various cost models when describing aircraft and coffee makers within the same chapter as examples. The chapter on lean manufacturing is oversimplified. This book should be supplemented by a lean-manager program if proper understanding of lean is warranted. The reading level is advanced, and if one finds the text difficult to read then that one should take a course in English grammar, first.

At the time, it was what I needed for school.

Very helpful with my accounting class. I was able to pass the class with an A-. Very good resource to use.
