KENWOOD KDC-BT278U CD Car Stereo w/ Bluetooth, Single DIN, App Control & AM/FM Radio, USB Port, AUX Input

For the price, this works very well & i'm overall quite pleased with my purchase.Install was relatively easy, Nobody carried adapters for my 91 mitsubishi mighty max so I ended up having to splice each wire together and find which one went where. But it was overall easy & fit well.I paired mine with a pair of 6 inch and 4 inch pioneer speakers and man they sound great!Bluetooth auto pairs with my phone whenever the radio turns on & has spotify controls integrated in which is a big plus, I believe it works with android auto aswell but I don't use that.It also comes with a mic and hands free calling, Trying to dial somebody is a pain to get through and to find whoever you need to call, It's easier and faster to take your phone out and do it manually. Though, The microphone sounds clear to everybody i've called from it, So that's a plus.I'd totally buy this again if I wanted to upgrade another stereo system. 5/5

Very easy install, you can use a universal mounting kit just remember this has a CD player and is deeper than most cars stereo's these days. BT works great with the phone for calls and music. Sounds is great for what you are paying for. Menu listing are easy to navigate. Overall I'm very happy with this in my 88 S10 Blazer.

This doesn't have carplay so everything will need to be Bluetooth playback. USB port for charging only I think, everything that gets plugged in gets the message "incompatible device". The bluetooth does sound better than I ever expected though - never had a good experience using wireless audio but this just works. Make sure to plug the included mic into the back of your stereo, even if you never plan to use it, it does truly drastically improve bluetooth audio quality somehow.I ended up cutting my corroded factory harness off because it was shorting my rad2 fuse, and hardwired everything to the little aftermarket harness Kenwood included - would not recommend unless you have tools like soldering iron, volt tester, wire strippers, and heat gun with shrink tubes. If you have these or can borrow them, it's a fun and satisfying project to complete successfully and take pride in how neat and labeled everything is.If you want to avoid headache, make sure to order the separate wiring kit for your specific vehicle, it's plug and play from the factory harness all you gotta do is connect it to your Kenwood harness which is much easier to find wiring diagrams for. My 2006 Highlander was a PITA to find a correct diagram, there are several floating around so make sure to use a volt tester to find your two different power sources and from there you will know which diagrams are correct if your wire color matches theirs.

Easy install in my 08' Tiburon. Bought mostly for the Bluetooth. Hate it when I get a call while driving and the phone's in my pocket. Phone paired easily and system sounds great. It even plays CD with MP3 music on them.

I highly recommend. I replaced a very old Kenwood with this and I am in love with this radio. I installed it myself and it is wonderful!!

Refurbished an old farm truck. I ordered the radio to replace a non working after market radio that really didn't fit. Fit perfectly, works great, couldn't ask for more.

When my dad passed away I got his truck. For several years it was without the factory CD player. After lots of searching I decided to get this one. I’m very pleased with it. The sound quality and the Bluetooth are great.

Very good for money. Was a pain to install, but most stereos are but once it was working it is great. Very good for Bluetooth if your car doesn't have it.

The design of these single din units has not changed in 20 years. With the addition of Bluetooth, aux, usb, Pandora, Spotify, it makes it hard to navigate through the features using the small buttons that have small symbols and a small screen while driving.The Spotify connect usually doesn't work, I use the regular Bluetooth connection all the time.The app for this is very useful to dial in the EQ settings.
