Pandemic = puzzles. This one pleasantly surprised me. It appears to have a thin wooden back which makes it very sturdy and I didn't notice any peeling of the top layer. The pieces fit very tightly which is fine. It was packed in a sweet gift bag. Well done! Even the directions which could use a little tidy-up syntax wise, was kind of charming. Overall impression is that these folks turn out a very nice product and I really enjoyed putting it together.

I was scared of this puzzle when it came! It turned out to be a most delightful project. Someone told me it is a Swedish puzzle because it is made of balsa wood and there are letters stamped on the back to help group the pieces together. With a white background and small dogs that all basically look the same on a piece of puzzle I wasn't sure how I would sort this one. But the letters on the back make it easy

This is a tough puzzle. But the pieces are really sturdy. If u want a quarantine challenge this is a great choice!

We got really into puzzles during Covid and have done them pretty consistently the last couple years now - a.k.a. we’ve done a lot of puzzles lolThis is hands-down the most fun we’ve had doing a puzzle and even my husband was genuinely sad to see it finished. The dog faces were so adorable, we really looked forward to connecting pieces every day over the course of the week when we had breaks during work. Would be a fun gift for any animal lover

Great quality! I read the reviews that mentioned it had other animals besides dogs on it and because I love all animals it actually made it MORE fun! Definitely not super challenging because each animal is unique, but good quality and all pieces were there. The wood backing was great, they almost snapped into place. Would recommend.

this was a great puzzle. I love and hate the material it is made of. Being more rigid it sometimes feels like some of the pieces do not fit but they do. It will bow a little but looks great with great representations of dogs

I got the one with all the dogs on it.Pros:1. The picture/design is great -- especially for a dog lover.2. Once I figured out the system, the letters on the back of the puzzle pieces indicating the section that piece goes in is very helpful.3. The pieces are of really good quality (wood).4. Some dry glue comes with the puzzle, in case you want to glue it together.5. The picture guide for the puzzle (folded up inside the box) is an exact size replica, which makes it really easy to follow.Cons:1. The writing is Chinese (and I don't read/speak Chinese), so it took me a while to try to translate the instructions to figure out the lettering system on the back of the puzzle pieces and what the white powdery stuff was (glue) in the box.2. There are only 3 shapes of pieces: 2 different ones for the border pieces and everything in the center is the same shape. Because of this, many pieces are interchangeable. This was a big turn off for me. The border took the longest, because there were pieces that were the exact same shape with no colors or print on them and they fit in multiple positions. Much like a typical puzzle, I do the edges/border first. I do not recommend that system with this puzzle. Sort the pieces in the 8 different sections (A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H) and just do each section like a mini-puzzle. But, then I felt like it was kind of cheating knowing which section of the board the piece went in.3. The box was misleading and I couldn't tell if the correct puzzle I ordered was in the box, until I opened it. That was OK, because I bought the puzzle for myself. But, if you're giving as a gift, the box is misleading.Although I really liked the finish product, I was annoyed enough with the cons that I cannot rate it higher than a 3-star.

I loved the letters on back to separate and makeIt easier to put together. I don’t know why people would complain about this puzzle. It is nice.
