ImagineCreamy Soup, Portobello Mushroom, 32 Oz

I love soups and often make my own but this one is too delicious not to buy.. Not only delicious but easy-jus heat and serve,

This broccoli soup tasted like overcooked broccoli. I am removing it and all Imagine soups from my subscription list. Very disappointed,

The soup is fine and a good price for something organic. But like a lot of packaged preparpred organic food, it's a bit bland. I add a touch of salt and a lot of pepper, particularly aleppo pepper. After cooking (which really means in a microwave for a minute and a half), I also chop up one celery stalk and give it some crunch. Remember: add the celery AFTER cooking.

Who puts sugar in soup? Unfortunately, Imagine and most other soup manufacturers put sugar into their soups. Imagine's portobello mushroom soup is one of the few packaged soups I can find that doesn't have sugar added. Fortunately, I like this one a lot and buy a lot of it; it's cozy and satisfying on a cold winter day. Would love to try other Imagine soups, such as the super greens soup, but they're full of sugar. (I have never in my life put sugar into a homemade soup.)

The flavor is good. It's a bit thin / watery. Tried it first straight out of the carton. 2nd serving added sauteed portobello mushrooms and it was MUCH better.

this mushroom soup is so good! I like the healthy ingredients with no added sugar. use this quite often in my cooking for a substitute for cream of mushroom soup. this has much more flavor and is super easy to use.

I got this in my April subscription box, but when the summer got hot I tucked it into the pantry for cooler weather. Now that it's been overcast and cool for a few days, I was thinking some hot soup sounded nice so I pulled it out. The top seal is unbroken and it's definitely not leaking (I've turned it every which way to try to find where it could have been punctured), and the expiration date isn't until March. So why is it swollen like it's gone bad??? It sure looked from the packaging and the date that it was shelf stable, but it's definitely not. Do not waste your money on this!

This is another very good Imagine soup that has just the right thickness (not too much and not too “brothy”). Flavor is rich enough but I usually like to add spices such as Italian, Herb & Garlic (non-salt), Tajin, etc. I like the low calories in 1 cup of soup (80 cal).
