Easy to install, works great on my turbo NB miata

Absolutely fantastic replacement. Had replaced a failed master cylinder when I bought the car originally and although it let me actually shift again, it wasn't quite the best. A year later, it completely failed so I ordered this one.Like everyone else says, it's not an Exedy brand part, just a daiken or whatever part. But dang does it work great. Replaced the slave as well for good measure and the pedal feel is considerably improved, engagement point is no longer half a millimeter off the floor, and it stays consistent.Much better build quality too. Relatively easy install. You will need to bleed your clutch to complete install. Has worked flawlessly so far. No more vanishing fluid from clutch master cylinder.

After several “parts store” masters and slaves, I said enough is enough. Bought OEM and haven’t looked back. My parts store hydraulic parts would go out every few months. I was constantly having to change them out. I waited and got these shipped. The price tag is a little hefty compared to SuperMiata and other Miata retailers, but once you account for shipping with those retailers the cost comes out about the same. And with Amazon it arrives a week sooner than it would anywhere else, so definitely worth the extra $1-2.

Easy to install, and good quality. At the same time, I also installed the Exedy SC825 Slave Cylinder. The combo of the two means I shouldn't have a problem with my clutch for a while. TIP: I've had 2 Miatas in a row in which I did this repair. While I was in there, I adjusted the push rod for the master cylinder - just a tad - (I lengthened it by 2 rotations or so). It greatly improved the way the clutch felt. It didn't grab right off the floor, as both of my Miatas had done. Now it feels like the clutch on a new car (and has for 4 months now). NOTE: you do not have to wait until you replace the master cylinder to make this adjustment. You can do it right under the dash. It takes a little bit of gymnastics, but the 10 minutes you spend doing it will change the way your clutch feels. Makes the car feel like new, and more enjoyable to drive!

The clutch master cylinder was very easy to install, easy to blead master cylinder. Fit perfectly and works great. Recommend.

Ordered for my 1996 Mazda, Miata 5 speed the old one was leaking really bad causing the car not to go into shift gears. Satisfied so far.

Had Clutch problem (couldn't always shift). Mazda dealer said there was leaking around slave cylinder. I ignored online advice to replace both slave and Master cylinder. Had slave replaced, problem remained. Had Master replaced, problem solved.These parts are cheap, and it won't cost much more to replace one vs. both. Bleeding clutch line is probably the most time-intensive aspect of the repair. Better/cheaper to replace both cylinders, ensure it's all done, and then bleed.

This unit was perfect no problems with installation and it worked just fine. much cheaper than OEM.
