Better service and more spare parts than the other guys
I'm not going to go into gushing detail over this plate holder; I will get to the selling points. I was torn between many different options, all of which pretty much looked the same. I almost bought the $10 version. What convinced me to spend $20 instead? I saw "Darius" (the CEO) had replied to almost every review, and offered help wherever it seemed to be needed. The guy obviously wants his customers to be pleased and he takes pride in his business. I respect that. The other reason I paid the extra money is for the extra parts this kit includes (most of which I personally didn't end up using, but they were there if I needed/wanted them and many others would). It comes with spacers, screws, screw caps, and instructions. I used the original screws already on my car because they look shiny and new anyways. I didn't use the chrome caps although they look cool if you want to use them. Spacers are an extremely good idea, and although my car already had them on, I still might use the extra ones I received. As for the bottom of the plate holder, there are two little "hooks" that hold the tag in place and they are smoothed out and don't appear to be harmful whatsoever, nor do they jut out enough to be a problem. They do what they're supposed to do; hold the plate in the holder.THE CONCERN: It is apparent that all of the plate holders are going to have a bit of a "sharp" back edge along the outline. It's just the way they are made. I read about sharp back edges in every different product I looked at. And I'm sure the cheaper ones are much sharper. This one is very smooth on the front and sides, but the back is slightly "sharp", enough for us car lovers to have a slight level of concern. But my worries are alleviated after using it for a week with no issues. This kit includes spacers (pretty much foam sticky tape) and accurate instructions on how to use them. Got a question about installation for your particular vehicle? Shoot Darius an email and he'll reply sooner than you expect. In my case, my Maxima had some pads behind the plate near the bottom, so the bottom and side edges of the back of the plate frame don't touch my paint at all. But the top of the frame does slightly rest on the paint. I could have used the spacers that came with the frame (and I still might), but instead I cautiously secured it tight enough so it won't move, and trusted the words of wisdom that came with the frame, informing me that so long as it is installed properly, it's highly unlikely going to leave any damaging scratches on your paint. I also asked for advice and tips from Darius and he quickly followed up with a helpful reply. This frame seems to be of good, strong quality and I would imagine it is better quality and significantly less "sharp" than the cheaper ones... but nevertheless, even if many of these plate frames are coming from similar factories, THIS company is going to provide you with enough screws, spacers, screw caps etc to get the job done properly for your situation and, more importantly, the customer service to answer your questions is just an email away. And I'm quite certain I also read that if I wasn't completely satisfied I could return it for a full refund, no hassle. For those reasons, the item and the seller receive 5 stars from me. Oh, and the frame looks sick on my Maxima. That shiny, sleek, chrome frame surrounding my plate, matching the rest of the chrome on the back of the whip, all against the metallic slate color on my tinted 2013 loaded Maxima premium SV looks really good. OK, so I got in two sentences of gushing about it. I will post pics in a couple days so you all can agree and buy one for yourself and be cool like me. "NO RAGRETS"

Sturdy but beware of caps locking
I originally gave this 1 star but I am changing my review... The caps that go over the cups basically lock and you can't get them off. I switched license plates and tried getting it off the old one. I had to ruin every cap getting them off. And the one cap I had to have my husband CUT off.If you buy this, please be wary of the caps. The kit did come with several options and was made very well for the most part.I changed this review rating because I reached out to the manufacturer and they were great following up and ended up refunding my money in full with no questions asked. A very stand up company and really stand behind their product.

Nice frame. Installation may be a challenge.
Nice looking carbon fiber veneer frame. Everything is stainless steel and seems a solid company backing it all up for a very reasonable price. In the end it looks great on my car. However...Unless you have a very simple sheet metal screw into nylon fastener system, you might be surprised how complicated it can be to properly attached a license plate and frame to your vehicle. There are no uniform standards. You may also be surprised as to how complicated screws and washers can be in their variety, sizing and nomenclature-- yes, really!I have attached photos of installation steps on my new Audi Q5. These things I learned the hard way:1) Audis have a black plastic body plate with embedded nuts for attaching license plate/frame. Be careful, these nuts can easily be stripped out of cheap plastic plate. Biggest challenge is these factory nuts are VERY VERY shallow. Maybe 3 turns of a screw deep- that's it-- then they bottom out. Poor design. This leads to amazingly tight and frustrating specs for the hardware needed (see below).2) I bought everything in stainless steel. The variety of screws and washers you might end up trying will surprise you.3) I used metric M6 X 16 screws. The length was a matter of trial and error and bundling up different combinations of washers. Ended up using this screw plus 1/4" split lock washer and 1/4" AN washer (ever heard of an AN washer? Less width than a regular flat washer) plus a regular 1/4" flat washer behind the frame. This is in addition to screw cover/cap pieces supplied with frame.4) I could not get everything to lie flat until I used a nylon hammer to flatten the lower "fingers' on the frame. These were hitting the Audi body plate, preventing the license/frame from lying flush.5) The frame has a noticeable lip on it. This looks good in the end, but complicates getting the license plate to lie flush with the frame without an air gap. I used stick-on foam insulation stuck behind license plate to push the license plate away from the Audi body plate and tight with the back of frame. Be aware that your license plate is not really flat- It is cheap metal, flexible and has numerous bends and divots in it.While none of this was technically "difficult", it was quite tedious and time consuming in the trial and error to get everything to fit correctly. Biggest challenge was shallow nuts on Audi factory license platform that allowed no margin for error. The frame manufacturer installation video makes it look like you get all the parts you need and can easily attach everything in 3 minutes. No way- at least not on an Audi. Hope this helps someone.

The frame arrived in perfect condition and the installation was a breeze.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I had a chrome plastics dealer plate on my car and wanted something quality. I read all the reviews for this plate and decided to go with it. I had read that the screw covers were hard to install so I decided to shoot a film showing me removing and installing it which to show any of the problems. The plate itself was in perfect condition and the install went very smooth. I am very happy with the quality of the product. It looks nice and is exactly what I was hoping for. I added the film, watch if you are on the fence. Just to Clarify, this was my Ex'es car.

Outstanding Customer Service
This company sells excellent products (which are difficult to find elsewhere) supported by outstanding customer service. I had a minor problem with one of the installation components and it was dealt with expeditiously and in a manner that frankly surprised me. I have since purchased another of their license plate frames for one of my other vehicles.
