The Price of Salt Paperback – January 9, 2019

I love this story so much. I laughed, cried, got totally caught up in the characters and their moments. The story is unique in its simplicity but the situation is complex, especially give the historical time frame. I took off a star because their are spelling errors, typos, and truncated sentences that cause the reader to leave "the zone" trying to figure our where the next word is located! Other than that, this is such a great buy. Such a precious story. I'll be reading this a second and third time at least.

Lots of typos in this copy. It also ends very sadly.

Storia scritta benissimo (non a caso parliamo di una grande scrittrice, famosa per i suoi gialli), di una purezza, modernità (scritta negli anni '50) e delicatezza notevoli. La trama è arcinota visto anche il film che avrebbe meritato molti più premi a mio avviso. Evidentemente ancora oggi una storia di rispetto di se stessi nonostante le convenzioni risulta troppo rivoluzionaria. Consigliato .

Terrible reprint of an amazing novel. Pixelated cover art, typos throughout, spacing issues between words, incorrect indentations, etc. It actually is distracting when trying to read the novel. Do not order from this seller/publication. Very disappointing.The book itself is fantastic, though!!

Great story, the characters had depth and evolved throughout the book. Cute May-December romance.
