Does what the more costly same tool does. Identical in construction, and thankfully, identical in function. This tool performs for me all day the same as my cock workers more expensive version name brand tool does. All my connections pass, I even like the release post crimp better than the lack of release of rj45 the expensive name brand tool I borrowed from Co worker before I found this tool for myself. Great purchase. Do not get the costly name brand tool, this one performs great at a quarter of the cost.

I've done router and switch work for over 25 years. My employer always bought us Fluke tools but they were expensive. The problem is not all crimpers seat the pins properly, a problem I've run across too many times with the Flukes. I took a chance on these and as long as they seated the pins well, I would be satisfied. They did. Nice and even with the proper depth. The passed-through wires cut off nicely. The only thing I could possibly ding this tool on is that it's not easy to pass the wires through the opposite side when positioning the connector in place. This is no reason to not buy these, though. Just trying to give a thorough review. For the price and ease of use, you won't beat this tool.

So the grip isn’t the best- feels kind of cheap, however the tool is solid and works well. Crimps and cuts as expected, I’ve never had any wires that stayed behind or that didn’t fall off... my guess is those individuals didn’t press down all the way. Good, clean cuts and crimps so far. Definitely recommend, especially for the price.

Why oh why did I spend years being unaware that pass-through connectors were a thing? I love this thing. If you've never used pass-through connectors, buy some right now and you'll never want to use a normal connector again. This tool is great because it cuts, strips, and crimps all in one tool. I especially like the ratcheting action; once you get a feel for a particular cable you'll know how many clicks to ratchet when using the cable stripper, and will easily strip the jacket without nicking the inside cable. The only complaint I have is sometimes you have to squeeze it twice to get it to cut off all the cables when crimping, but that's really not a big deal, it's still way faster than using regular connectors.

I purchased a $50 tool from the big box store….. when I couldn’t find it I came to realize that it must have been picked up by the cable guy when he was here several months ago…. I am sure it was a mistake…. So I purchased this tool to replace it.I have used it once. It strips the wire better than the expensive one!! The pass through crimp worked great the first time.I suggest that you strip the wire further back and feed your wires one at a time to make sure they are in the correct order.

Don't waste your time or money. Spend the extra few bucks and go with the nicer tool. This tool is absolute garbage. I ended up returning this and getting the Klein Tools VDV226-110 crimper/cutter. Thought I could save a bit of money on this one with the cheaper tool....this is a case where you can not.- The blade doesn't cut all the way through.- There are two tabs on the tool itself that jam up against the outside pairs and bend them all over the place, causing all sorts of problems (see pic). There is a TINY gap you could fit the two outside pairs through without bending, but it is almost impossible. The pairs have to be perfectly straight and you have to be very careful when inserting the connector. If you are off just even a little bit, you will bend the wires, it will jam up and you will have to start all over again.- The blade sits too far out and if you can get it to cut all the way through, it won't even be a flush cut.I did eventually get one semi-decent connector, but it took: getting the wires perfectly straight, inserting them and making sure they didn't jam up, cut, STILL did NOT get a clean flush cut. Bent and pulled the excess wires until they snapped off, then put it back in the tool 3-5 more times to cut the rest and almost got a flush cut. Still a tiny bit of excess. Would probably cause an issue of not seating all the way in the NIC if you actually tried to use it.

I'm very happy with the UbiGear All In One Crimper! I use it professionally and often! Because I use it so much, like with any tool of this type the cutting blade eventually dulled. I contacted UbiGear and they responded immediately! They verified my order and got the replacement blades out to me right away. Recommend the tool and the company!!

This is second time I ordered the same item from two different sellers and got the same generic Chinese packing. Quality is good but it doesn't have the passthough connector blade. It's mentioned on the packing as no 6 perforation RJ45 blade but on the actual product there is no such blade. Please see attached picture.
