This is the first cuttlebone holder that actually works for me and my birds.
All the ones I tried before were flimsy and would not stay in place. These actually stay in place!

The Best Cuttle Bone Holder I've found
This is the only Cuttle Bone holder that my bird can't chew up and holds the Cuttle Bone very strongly.

Birds Like It
Does a great job of holding on to the cuttlebone. I have two parakeets and two budgerigars and they all seem to like this holder. My only complaint is that there is nothing that stops it from sliding side to side on a horizontal bar. The birds like to relocate this at times and move it to where they get their water bowl messy.

Works Well
Holds a medium sized cuttlebone well. Far better than those little metal clips with tabs. It's also very inexpensive which is nice.

You could make something better yourself.
I think this cuttlebone holder is good if you're using large or extra large cuttlebone. If you're using the small sizes, it blocks a large portion of it, and it's almost impossible to move it so that birds can reach the unused part. We could have rigged something in the cage for cheaper that would work better.

Great Product!
Great product. They hold the cuttlebones in place more securely than the basic clips.

totally wrong dimensions
if some one got paid to design this, they ripped off the company making these. it is huge, in no way can you use it for small birds, period. the tap or hook part, that holds the bone to the mount, is too narrow; really, you need a large, FLAT, cuttlebone to fit. good luck on finding one of these. if you do put a large bone in it, in time, either the mount or the bone is going to break. you would be better off just throwing a bone on the floor of the cage than to use this . i have added this, to my pile of junk that can't be used for birds. what is it that companies totally mis-judge the needs of the bird owners needs?
