Fox Racing Youth Raceframe Roost Guard

My son had a bad fall at a BMX race the first time wearing his new Fox Guard. His handle bars went directly into his left chest. After the fall he said he felt okay and continued biking. His jersey was torn and when he took off his guard he had a red mark directly over a rib, but no pain. Saved him from an emergency room visit. Thanks. I recommend all BMX riders to wear a good fitting guard like this one.

We bought for grandchildren to wear when riding their battery powered mini bike. Kids & parents like. Our solution to concerns about grandchildren is to send something from Amazon. Protects their vital organs while playing on the new minibike.

My son likes the fact that it worked. He uses it for what it’s made for. He’s a big 11yr old. He will be growing out of it soon. But as he skidded across the gravel today, it protected his chest!!

Actually bought the wrong but to my surprise this was more than enough protection.

So I was unsure of buying this for my 5 year old because it’s just a youth “one size”. It came today and fits great with some room to grow into it. My son usually wears a youth small, size 6/7. Seems to be made well, it’s durable for the easy riding on a quad my son does. If your child is a more advance rider maybe get something a little sturdier.
