Great source of organic sourced whole vitamin c complex as found in nature
This is the Vitamin C supplement I like the most as it has 240mg of organic sourced whole vitamin c per capsule. I bought it to use as a more natural source of vitamin C that we need every day. It's involved in many body functions, including being a potent water-soluble antioxidant in humans, formation of collagen, absorption of iron, the immune system, wound healing, and more. Many animals can produce their own vitamin C and so do not need to get it from food, but humans require it as part of our nutrition. Unfortunately most people dont realize that Ascorbic Acid is synthetic made vitamin c. Thousands of bottles of ascorbic acid are purchased everyday under the misguided assumption that ascorbic acid is the same as Vitamin C. In nature, ascorbic acid is just one part (the outer ring) of the whole vitamin c complex. Vitamin C exists in nature as a complex of bioactive compounds including Ascorbinogen, Bioflavonoids, Rutin, Tyrosinase, Factor J, Factor K, and Factor P as mentioned that work synergistically to deliver therapeutic benefits. Ascorbic Acid unbinds copper from ceruloplasmin, and ceruloplasmin is needed to make copper usable in the body. Many times the synthetic is made industrially from GMO corn as well.Has my review been of help to you? If so, would you consider hitting the "helpful" button below? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

WHOLE vitamins vs. synthetic or stripped.
Don't but vitamin C unless it is WHOLE vitamin C which is hard to find, but THIS product is WHOLE, most are a synthetic form of absorbic acid. Same with vitamins, most are synthetic and not WHOLE vitamins, our bodies can't absorb synthetic vitamins and you'll have to take more of them and the effects won't continue nor is anything synthetic good for us. Nutri-Gold is a great brand. I buy their Multi's also (which are WHOLE). btw: Vitamin E should always be whole too, but most are stripped and all you get is the d-alpha tocopherol (whole=alpha, beta, gamma AND delta). Be mindful when buying vitamins. I'm a Nutri-Gold Fan as you can probably tell.

What is left out is just as important as what's in it
I like this vit C because it does not contain ascorbic acid that is made from corn. Since going on a wheat and corn free diet I cannot tolerate even the smallest amount of corn. It's great there is a vit C made that is gluten, corn, soy and filler free. I also like this company has the verified non-gmo stamp on their label. If I can go organic and non-gmo, I am willing to pay more for it, and I think their price is reasonable for what you are getting in return. Also, I was looking for a vit C that contained bioflavonoids without all the added junk such as magnesium stearate, which is another additive that is contained in many supplements on the market that also I cannot tolerate. I've searched and there isn't much out there. This is one of the best C's in veggie capsule form on the market right now, in my opinion. Read the label for yourself!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE , LOVE
I found out that I have anemia and my white blood cell count is down. Since I run a home day care, I am constantly exposed to cold germs. Before I started taking iron for my anemia, I was catching a new cold every few weeks. I was miserable. I started taking this Vitamin C with my iron because it helps iron absorb. Let me tell you what? I am a FOREVER believer in Vitamin C, not just any brand, but especially this one. I have never taken Vitamin C in high quantities, but THIS one definitely does the trick. I'm taking three per day with my iron supplements and have not been sick for three months. I can feel myself fighting colds, you know when you feel one coming on, but they never grab me like they used too. My body has been able to fight them off!! I am so excited. Even after I am done getting my iron levels back up and my fibroid tumors taken care of, I am going to continue this Vitamin C. It's expensive, but it's worth it. One bottle lasts one month when taking them three times per day. $20 per month for health...I'm in!!!

Not easy to swallow but great Vitamin C
Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin. Your body will get rid off the excessive amounts easily. One pill from this bottle will supply %270 of your daily need of Vitamin C. Our bodies cannot and does not absorb the disclosed numbers on the label. The good thing is even if your system digests or absorbs half of the amount mentioned on the label, you are covered for the day.Pros:* You will get enough Vitamin C for the day with one pill.* I never burped it.* There is no taste to it (since you don’t chew it, it is hard to taste anything).* Good quality ingredients.* It does what it claims on the bottle.* Comes in a glass bottle.Cons:* Hard to swallow.* Pills are somewhat larger than an average, not easy to swallow the pills. This might be a necessary size to give us the dose being promised on the bottle.* It is a little on the pricey side, it you get what you pay for.One last suggestion…Try to get any vitamins including vitamin c from food. You should only take vitamins after verifying a deficiency with a bloodwork or obvious symptoms.Hope my review helps you to make a decision.

Great Way To Get Vitamin C
These pills are a little longer than a dime, and about as big around as a #2 pencil. They're pretty easy to swallow and have no after taste. I like them over taking a chewable vitamin C tablet as sometimes I feel like the chewable vitamin C tablets can cause canker sores in the mouth if you take them every day over the period of a few days. I feel like taking these, in conjunction with some zinc pills, helped me not get a full-on cold when everyone else in my household recently had full-on colds. I'd recommend them.
