This is my preferred brand for my omega supplements. No fishy taste these actually have a strawberry taste somewhat. My brain power and focus is better with these taken consistently. Quality and value for the money spent. Skin and hair looks and feels good too. Easy to swallow also.

These are the way to go. I save them for last in my nightly prenatal med rounds because they have a nice, light strawberry taste. In the first trimester when I was feeling GROSS I bought these even though I had been given the unflavored ones for free LOL. The extra cost is so worth it and I never went back to the plain ones.

**Update: Amazon replaced the fishy bottle with a new one. New one (from same lot number) is great and back to the excellent quality I’ve enjoyed the past couple years! Back to strawberry burps instead of fishy burps.**I have been taking these for 2 years through pregnancies and nursing, and have loved that there was no fishy taste or smell...and only strawberry flavored burps. BUT this most recent bottle purchased, the pills came out smelling fishy and my burps ugh fishy. What happened? I didn’t see clumping like others had noted about broken capsules, but I don’t think I can take any more of these pills. It’s so gross. I literally went from great pills from my old bottle on Monday night to fishy pills from the new bottle on Tuesday night. So disappointed. Going to try and get an exchange and hope it was just the one bottle that’s an issue.

I started this after reading that DHA can help with cognitive decline during perimenopause and menopause. I was already taking some DHA, with an EPA dominant blend (also by Nordic Naturals)--like the regular Omega 3 supplement--and doubted I'd notice much difference with this DHA-dominant blend. Wow I was wrong. It's like brain juice. Even though it isn't much higher mg-wise than what I was getting from 4 of the regular Omega 3s, the formula feels more intense. I am able to focus for long periods of time again, very important to my work as a writer and professor, and my anxiety has gone down. I have a very sensitive system and am able to take 2 without problems.

I've used this product for years. It's the only DHA supplement that actually makes my hair grow. Definitely sticking with it and it's good ingredients.

Good quality, always packaged well, no nasty after taste...only complaint sometimes the pills get clumpy in the bottle and are hard to break up and get out

I am almost 8 months pregnant, and have been taking this supplement since the beginning. While I don't exactly know how it has affected the development of my babies brain and eyes yet, I do know that I have had little to no mood swings the entire pregnancy. I'm sure emotional well being is affected by a wide range of factors such as hormones, but I can safely say that I believe this supplement has had a positive impact. The gel capsules are small, easy to swallow, and the strawberry flavor is light. I also really like how there are no artificial flavors or colors. I chose this particular one that does not contain vitamin D because I am getting a sufficient amount in my prenatal (Vitamin Code, Garden of Eden). I definitely recommend this fish oil!
