Most of the reviews are saying the signal with SPYPOINT camera dropped to 25%. This is true because the camera is built to read the stock antenna and not to read this booster. I guarantee you will get transmissions in low signal areas. I use it on all my SPYPOINT cameras in low signal areas and I hardly ever get missed transmissions. I even use it on one of my new flex cameras that was missing a communication now and then but never missed one using this booster. The wire is much heavier on this brand than some of the others out there. Great buy for the money!

I used my spypoint Link Micro as a security camera at a remote location. After several years using the original camera I was forced to upgrade to the spypoint Micro LTE due to the fact that AT&T was switching over to 4G LTE service to customers, rendering the original obsolete. The original camera had a signal strength of 20% (which was questionable at times) but normally transfered photos on a regular basis.When I switched over to the Link Micro LTE I located it in the same metal securty box as I had the original camera in and I could not get a signal at all. After several calls to Spypoint (customer support) they were no help at all in solving the signal issue. You would think that by purchasing an upgraded version, the new camera would have a better signal than the old one! Not the case!!I searched Amazon for a compatible antenna, and after reading several reviews I decided to try this antenna.! I have included a screen shot of the status page of the camera showing the new camera's signal strength at 90%. The second camera illustrated on the bottom, is the old camera which is no longer being used. I could not be more happy with this antenna!!!

Got an AT&T SPYPOINT and needed Verizon for my area. This went from 0-20% signal and getting pics about twice a month to 70% and getting a check in every day.

I only needed a little boost in received signal strength for my Spypoint Link Micro LTE V camera to be able to start sending pictures. So I installed this antenna on a 10' section of pvc pipe and secured it to one of the t-posts in my feeder pen. I am an RF Engineer who works specifically on improving cellular signal both indoors and outdoors. So I know a thing or two about antennas. While the antenna does provide some increase in the level of signal received by the camera, I doubt this is a 5dBi gain antenna. I didn't connect it to a spectrum analyzer to test it so I won't say for sure that it's not. But, again, I doubt it. But even with the cable loss that such a thin coaxial cable has, it gets enough additional signal to my camera for it to work. You will see in the picture that I installed the antenna almost as high as I possibly could. I recommend that you do the same. It works and I am happy with it overall. It is a helluva lot less expensive than the manufacturer's model and probably works just as well.

Worked great boosting the signal on my moultrie exo cams.. they went from less than 5% to 30%.

I think it's worth the money. It boosted mine a decent amount so that i have a better signal than i did, but not 100%

Simple to install and increased the signal strength from 25% to 90%. I mounted the antenna on a 10' piece of conduit and zip tied it to a small white pine tree. This antenna was 75% less than the Spypoint brand and it connected directly to the camera. Simply unscrew the original antenna and insert this one.

I tried this unit, it boosted signal by about 5 dbi as claimed if positioned correctly. This gain wasn't enough for me to get good enough bandwidth. I need a roof mount one for greater gain. I couldn't mount it where I wanted as it came with a 10ft cable, i didn't bother with extension cable as i was looking for higher dbi gain.

j'ai acheté cette antenne pour améliorer le transfert des photos sur une de mes caméras de chasse cellulaire Spypoint Link Micro. Je dois dire qu'après quelques jours d'utilisation, j'ai noté une bonne amélioration du transfert des images versus l'an dernier ou j'utilisais à ce moment là l'antenne de base. La transmission est plus régulière et plus rapide malgré la forte densité de la forêt ou la caméra est installée. Finalement, se suis assez satisfait de mon achat surtout pour le prix payé.

easy mounting improved reception when i mounted it outside with the cable running into my router. Also handy for other projects (may have to order a spare for a electronics project i have in mind)

Highly recommend this antena, it enabled me to get a signal on my trail cams when I could not get reception with the original antena. Highly recommended. Much more reasonably priced than the spy point antena
