Zoomer Chomplingz - Z-Rex Interactive Dinosaur

Grand daughter unwrapped this little guy yesterday and with the many Christmas presents she received, this Z-Rex turned out to be THEE gift. It's a funny toy that does many unexpected things to totally delight a four year old. Lots of things to learn about this toy so an adult really has to teach the child what the lights mean and what it does, etc. but any kid that digs the toy will want to learn it. I scored a high five on this one...

This toy didn’t work. I put 3 sets of new batteries in it, no dice. It was supposed to be “the big Christmas toy”. The worst part is the vendor doesn’t take returns or replace the item. This is one sad single mom who is out what for me is a significant chunk of change.

This dinosaur could not be more annoying. Which is suspect is what it's supposed to do. My 5 year old son thinks it's so funny and loves playing with it. He's a little too young to understand the directions and the different things the dino does, but he's entertained by it's roars and burps.

Neat little interactive toy. Works as advertised but I advise not giving to any child under 3. Mine is two and she broke the jaw bracket that attaches to a small motor to open close the mouth based on the pre-programmed actions. That bracket could be designed to be more robust....I know as I took it apart and fixed it and reinforced the bracket myself (I'm an Emgineer). But it is really cool how it can sense and interact with its environment and the user.

I got this for my 5 year old daughter who is really into dinosaurs right now and she loves it. She ended up with two of them for Christmas and my 9 year old son claimed the other, buying it from her so she could get something else in its place. It's a really cute toy and very interactive. Their favorite game to play is the one where it tries to bite your hand, like playing chicken.

Got this for my son, put batteries in it and it did not work....this was the one toy he begged us for. Very dissapointed little boy on Christmas morning and I can not even return it for a refund or replacement.... Update as of 12/28: After messaging the company, still have not heard from seller.

I got this for my nephew but I think I had more fun with it than he did. Its super interactive and fun to play with. One of the instructions is "Pull my tail, if you dare" and I figured he would try to comp ya -- Nope! He farts and giggles! I loved it. So does my nephew. Lots of fun and laugh. My nephew loves it because it lights up. I love it because I feel like it will help him learn more about cause and effect.

It's a little boring and remembering how to set the different modes requires looking back at the manual. It's directions like: pull the tail and push back button for three seconds. When the eyes turn red you are in guard mode. It's not overly complicated but considering this row will be played with one or two times a month at best, I will never remember the directions for each mode and neither will my 5 year old son.

In a recent car accident, Z-Rex didn't make it. Thank you Amazon for making it possible to replace him exactly. You made a little boy very happy.

Does exactly what it says. My son LOVES it - especially since it farts when you pull its tail. Burps too!

Not bad of a t I y for toddler but could get very boring for older kids.
