The Pro Stealth holster is made of premium padded ballistic nylon. The 1-3/4" sturdy power coated black spring clip keeps this beauty securely anchored to your belt. A spare magazine pouch is standard for the auto loader models and they are ambidextrous. The clip may be removed and inserted on opposite side for left hand carry. Made in USA.

Not up to the standards one would expect of DeSantis products.
I usually rely on several brands of holsters for EDC. My favorites have been Safariland, Galco, DeSantis and a couple of custom holsters from local makers. DeSantis is a brand I've used in the past for other firearms and when I decided to begin carrying my laser-equipped LCP IWB, the DeSantis Pro Stealth look like a good option. One of the first things I noticed was how difficult it was to put in place. The body of the holster is made from a synthetic fiber and has two places to attach the belt clip, one for LH carry and the default position is for RH carry. The clip is so strong that it significantly distorts the side of the holster which makes it very hard to slide the holster over the belt or even just over my jeans.Since the last thing I want to do is to wrestle the holster into place with a loaded firearm in place, I tried placing it with only the empty holster. That was even worse. Once the holster was in place, I found that reholstering my LCP took two hands and a lot of praying that I wouldn't fumble things and hit the trigger. That makes practicing at the range something that's going to cause me, the RSO and other shooters there some anxiety.I would have liked to see a stiffener in place to make reholstering easier and safer.Other issues I've found are that the unused belt clip attachment point has sharp edges and presses against your body which gets very uncomfortable after a while and that the synthetic fiber is so slippery that the pistol wants to pop out when I'm driving or bent over to pick something up.If I decide to keep the holster, I'll remove the unused belt clip attachment point and find some way to stiffen the inside of the holster to make it simpler and safer to reholster. The retention issue will be a harder nut to crack and I'm beginning to believe that returning the holster is a better option overall. Conclusions:Holster is difficult to attach IWB (potential safety issue)Retention is not assured (potential safety issue)Firearm is difficult to reholster (potential safety issue)Leather would be better than synthetic fiberUnused belt clip attachment point presses against body and is very annoying.

Works AWESOME for AIWB carry
For IWB, I only carry in the appendix position - anything on my hip (3:00 to 4:30) is just horribly uncomfortable for me. The problem is, most holsters sit WAY too high on the belt line for AIWB carry. This particular holster, however, sits EXACTLY where I want it for AIWB carry with either a Glock 19 or XDS45 (4.0" model): low enough that the grip doesn't stick out and say "LOOK AT ME!" but high enough that the grip isn't actually inside the waistband, so you don't have to dig it out awkwardly to draw it (allows your fingers a full grip to draw). The fact that it can carry a spare magazine (or a small pepper spray canister, or flashlight, or folding knife) is also a bonus. The two biggest gripes I have are the fact that, like all DeSantis holsters with metal belt clips, the belt clips have VERY sharp edges that require a lot of sanding to keep them from actually cutting your skin and/or tearing up your belt, and the fact that the extra loop for the belt clip (because it's ambidextrous) rubs against your skin and irritates it. I just took a razor blade and cut along the stitches to remove the leather piece, behind which is a square of Velcro that is harmless and non-irritating. With just those two modifications, I can now comfortably carry my G19 with a spare G17 mag or my XDS45 with a spare 7-round mag, it's comfy, it doesn't make me sweat a bunch, it covers all but the very top 1/4" of the slide, and it allows a quick and easy draw. YAY!

Comfortable and great price.
Have this holster for my G26 and G19. Love them both. Both ride low on the waist. Easily concealable and comfortable for all day wear. The extra mag pouch attached works good, even though a quick reload wouldn't be so quick. I would recommend holster removal for reholstering your weapon just for the fact it does close when removed. Can't beat the price.

Very good basic no frills appendix holster.
This is a very good basic appendix holster with a spare mag holder attached for concealed carry. It doesn't exactly stand out anywhere but it's not bad either. You basically get what you paid for, which is a fairly cheap (compared to most kydex and leather holsters) but reliable holster that does what it is supposed to, which is to hold and conceal your handgun securely. The pistol rides somewhat low in your waistband which doesn't help with comfort but on the flip side it conceals better. The placement spare mag pouch is a bit counter-intuitive if you are trained with regular belt mag pouches but it is really not that hard of an adjustment after a couple of safe drills. Having a spare mag on your holster IWB is very convenient and it is a trade off from a traditional mag pouch that can be harder to conceal or carry. I know some people do not recommend re-holstering with these kinds of nylon holsters and I understand their concern, but the nylon lip opening for this holster is still somewhat re-enforced and I have practiced re-holstering with a dry weapon before with no difficulty or adverse effects personally, so I would be comfortable re-holstering if I had to.I have a couple different sizes of the Desantis Pro Stealth and I feel that this one for the sub-compact Glocks are the best fit, not too loose or not too tight like some of the others but this one is just right.
