Tekton is a pro-sumer grade tool line. EPAuto is a consumer grade tool line. They are priced accordingly. Tekton is perhaps the highest quality of tools, with the easiest to redeem warranty, outside of the tool truck brands. The EPAuto line is certainly good enough for DIY, non-professional use. Their warranty is not a long or as easy to redeem as Tekton.

how thick is the case when closed - I want to put it in a tool drawer that is 2" high?
