After shampooing do you wash hair before applying and condition after washing off ?

Qualified hairdresser - I would always use a mild clarifying shampoo before using fanola no yellow as it opens the hair up and allows better penetration of the purple pigments, as this shampoo is quite strong Id recommend first try diluting some in warm water and then pouring on, emulsify the mixture as you would if you applied directly to you hair it will lather up as normal. Sometimes the shampoo can leave a tinge of lilac in more porous parts of the hair if you find the diluted mix does not give the desired tone, use the shampoo as normal. If your struggling to remove yellow tones its always recommended you go to salon for a consultation of a colour service!
