Easier to use than an earlier model. New features very helpful. Overall basic good product at a solid, no frills price.

This is my 1st GPS navigator. I’m on my 4th dash cam, so I wasn’t confused when I opened the box. I intentionally got the 52 because it’s almost primitive when compared to the other Garmin navigators. Immediately I liked the touch screen menu. However! Most unfortunately there is no Bluetooth like the description incorrectly says, so I can’t use the available online apps because they don’t recognize my device. But hey! I paid $65 to learn, and so I’m learning. The menu presents basic, no frills options to choose from and it’s really easy, unlike some of the dashcams I’ve had. My suction cup comes loose from the windshield after about 20 minutes, so I came up with an alternative mounting location and configuration. Like I say, I didn’t spend $350 to $500 on this and I’m not upset about anything. I will get a very nice Garmin later on - once I get the hang of it with this learning model. In addition to the wonderful touch screen menu, it takes the destination I inpute and talks me through it, the voice is clear and loud enough and everything is turning out wonderfully. I’m upgrading my review from a three to a four. I emplaced a 32g memory card and downloaded the updates. I drive with it on all the time because essentially I drive through a speed trap on my way to work and it beeps whenever I exceed the speed limit. The graphics are in my opinion very good.

I purchased this refurbished Garmin GPS and have used it. I have been using the Garmin GPS for years now and recently bought a new fancy model, that you can talk to....and hate that one..It overheats, cuts out, and won't come back on for hours...but NOT THIS model...it is durable, pretty accurate, and what I like it it will recalculate quickly without making you go back the way it wants you to....that's so maddening ! Being a refurb, there was the previous owners saved places, favorites, and recent directions, and I was astounded because it was from my old hometown.. LOL. I just deleted it all but hey Garmin....are you really looking at these before you sell them on Amazon?This was a good buy and I would do it again...sometimes newer isn't better.

I purchased this renewed. It works, generally speaking, although occasionally it comes up with strange routes and will, for example, take you back a different way than it brought you to a place for no apparent reason. From the beginning, it had virtually no battery life. Even after fully charged, when disconnected from power it will go dead within a minute or two (I am not referring to the auto-off when you turn off your car ignition). The touchscreen is very insensitive. It requires full attention and hard pushes to register a selection and will often register a selection different than the one you wanted.

I bought the RENEWED, Drive 52 with TRAFFIC. The power cable supplied by a Amazon does not support the traffic function. When I plugged the Drive 52 into the car cigarette lighter I got the message " Traffic does not work with this cable." I checked with Garmin. Yes I have a Drive 52 with the traffic function but Garmin no longer makes the GPM36 cable with the traffic function. It is available on AMAZON, made by a third party. I cannot find anyone at Amazon to talk to because I expect if I as for a return replace I will get the same useless cable. I am out of luck, no Amazon support as in real people. I cannot tell them they are shopping bad product.

jai jamais itiliser un GPS et j'apprecie le simplicité....et pour un GPS reconditionier je l'aurait jamais su. C'est pcq je sait que cé un rebuilt .....tres contente .
