solid as a rock, will last forever
Made from cast iron and steel, No plastic or aluminum. Solid as a rock so no spiral cuts like light weight cutters made from aluminum or plastic. Even includes an extra cutter. Of course, it's not tiny and takes about a 20" circle to swing it. Value for the $ is very high.

Works great
Bought to cut fence post and it had no problem cutting fence pipe. Take your time and tighten slowly after each turn and it works flawlessly. The negative reviews I read I would assume or probably user error and trying to do to much on each turn.

Heavy Duty Feeling Tool, Meant for Light Duty Work.
The tool is very robust, hefty and long, providing good leverage. But the cutting wheel, despite also being very large, is rather dull. I can't imagine cutting anything like a schedule 80, or even schedule 40 steel pipe with it.Maybe larger, thicker walled copper. That being said, this tool performed well enough for MY needs, cutting several 2 3/8" inch diameter wide chain link hollow fence post ends. Keep in mind that these fence post ends are made of very mild and somewhat thin steel. So I consider it light duty cutting. And you should consider this tool for similar, light duty work.I reluctantly give it barely four stars. Only because 3 stars makes it sound like this tool flirts with trash. But it doesn't. It's a decently made bargain-priced tool, that even includes an extra cutting wheel---almost like they know you'll need it...Just be mindful of what I've mentioned in this review. And if you've got a one-time project involving large pipes with thinner steel walls ( or even thicker copper ones ) then this tool might work for you just fine.Satisfied MY needs.

Total Garbage
-Zero Stars-Wouldn't cut through the table leg I bought it for. In all honesty, it probably wouldn't cut through anything. The edge is so blunt that it makes it too wide to cut, even with pressure. It destroyed the table and now I have to waste my time sending it back. Do yourself a favor and spring for a better, namebrand company š¤¬

Did the job
This is not a small pipe cutter. It's big. It has a large turning handle which is great. Do as some others have said. Put a little oil on the rollers and cutter. Get it lined up and go slow. Once you get your cut started turn the handle a turn after a couple times around. Keep it tight and it will do it's job. It's not the highest quality cutter but it will work. If you don't like the way it looks send it back.

Effective Tool
I had a quick project that required a pipe cutter. It required that I cut four 1ā stainless pipes with reasonable precision. The QWORK Heavy Duty Pipe Cutter made quick work of the task with nice clean cuts. This is your basic pipe cutter. Place the device around the pipe you want to cut and slowly increase pressure each time you make a full revolution around the pipe. I suspect that people that have difficulty with the tool are trying to cut too quickly. If you really crank down too hard for the first couple of revolutions you risk squeezing the pipe out of round or spiraling out of the groove that will become your cut. My experience was perfect. I increased the pressure on the pipe a bit with each turn and the pipe quickly cut with a nice even lip. The cutter came with a spare cutting wheel that looks easy to replace when the time comes. It seems like a sturdy tool that can withstand frequent use. That said, you can spend 10 times more on a professional level pipe cutter. I highly recommend this product for the weekend DIY type.

I would buy again.
cutting is not easy, probably because I am not so strong as a plumber is, but it works fine and did the job. I would buy again.

Can't cut 3" PVC
The 1-3" is not big enough to cut 3" PVC. It would probably cut thinner 3in metal just fine though. The cutting wheel has a lot of rough edges, so not the best.
