I love this little bird salt cellar but little is an understatement. It’s very tiny. Maybe holds bout 3-4 Tbl of salt but that said it’s so cute I overlook size. It works in a pinch for cooking. Its more a decoration and I just love it.

This is an elegant way to have salt nearby while cooking. It holds the perfect amount and adds a beautiful accent to my cooking space.

Too small for purpose, and lid does not fit tightly. Better for hairpins or small earrings.

I gave this to my sister as a gift for salt in her kitchen. She lives in a studio apartment and doesn't have a lot of room. So far, she says it is the perfect size. I only gave it 4 stars since she is still trying it out. I bought her 3 salt cellars so this was just one of the options. It came nicely packaged and it is a sweet little bird that can be used for many things and not just salt. This is why I thought it was a good gift.

Arrived in good condition. Cute and useful for a small salt box.
