Barsony New Gun OWB Belt Holster w/Magazine Pouch for Full Size 9mm 40 45 Pistols

(I ordered the option for the "Springfield RO 1911 5in". Paid $24, w/ free shipping.)This OWB holster is a very good fit for a Rock Island Armory M1911 A1-FS (5" Barrel - 8 rnd. 45 ACP, RIA 51421).If I shove the pistol hard into the holster the end of the barrel pokes out a bit, less than 0.25 inch. (This is not really an issue for me at the moment. This could possibly change as it gets broken-in.) This could be fixed by adding a row of stitching to stop the trigger guard sooner. Good (safety) coverage over the trigger is provided by this holster. The retention strap has to be adjusted fairly short, but this will still allow the thumb-break to operate properly, and the strap is easy to adjust with the provided device (that looks like a tongue depressor). A thin plastic ruler works good too.The magazine pouch fits a standard 45 ACP 8-rnd Mag easily, yet securely.The belt clip could be a bit tighter, but once the strap is released, removal is easy, and everything stays in place. With the strap secure over the pistol, a firm tug on it will pull the entire holster & gun off of a thick leather belt.Like all the other Barsony holsters I own, I am exceptionally pleased with the materials, design, and construction of this product. Everything is properly padded to protect the finish of my pistol.A more robust (and expensive) holster may give better overall performance, but for the price, I am quite happy. I mostly wanted something simple & light to use at the range, and for that, this is perfect. I am sure it would work well for similar general (and occasional) purposes, such as light hiking. I will not be using this for all-day carry, every day.

I like this primarily for two reasons. One the obvious, it fits my Springfield 1911 .45 auto like a glove. Second it has an extra magazine compartment. Which if you are looking at this you'll know, they don't come with the majority of holsters for .45 ACP caliber automatics. But when carrying a single stack auto, you really want more than just 7 or 8 rounds at your disposal. Especially at a critical moment. The holster is an OWB holster, which for me is another plus. And again, something getting harder to find. Seems everyone is selling something IWB. I like having both, but prefer OWB. This is a well made holster that attaches via a single OWB clip to the right side. At least the model I ordered. The pistol and mag are held securely in the holster by Velcro straps, both adjustable. The holster is similar in construction to an Uncle Mike's style holster. Same rip stop type webbed construction. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends.

Have a Beretta 92FS Inox. Pistol and magazine fit very snugly, no issue there. Happy with the fit on them both. My lack of giving it a 5/5 is because of the material. Was expectong or at least believed going by the pictures the holdster material was thicker, than it is. Belt loop is fine, but the material that surrounds the slide section, could be thicker. Thought the holster was closed or came together at the end in front of the barrel. Instead it's open at the very end, so the barrel even though surrounded by material is clealy exposed. at the end No idea why the end could not be stiched together to keep anything from possibly going up into the barrel. While the odds of that mey be very slim. Why bother to take a chance at all. Just a couple more stitches. So I'd be a bit hesitant to use this on a regular basis. But still a good product for the money

After looking all over for a holster for my Taurus 24/7 Pro, I was really happy to come across this holster. It fits the weapon perfectly, is very comfortable to wear, and the quick draw action is exactly what I was looking for in an outer wear holster. Most holsters I’d looked at didn’t have the strap to prevent slippage or enforce security while carrying a handgun, but this one is great and fully adjustable. It is definitely well worth the price!

92fs Warning! depending on your thumb placement and your draw technique, there can be a high tendency to disengage the safety inadvertently.. I would highly discourage anyone from using this as an everyday carry holster for the 92fs. However If your looking for a cheap "under the pillow or seat" holster like I was, then this is your holster. Durable, good stitching, convenient extra mag. The button strap design really needs some adjustments by manufacturer. Not enough enough clearance for button, making dificult to snap closed.

Gun fit is great, good quality and material, made to adjust to fit similar pistols.Price is very good, and I would suggest this to anyone looking for a holster.

I liked most aspects of this holster. It is of good, sturdy material. It holds my handgun along with an extra magazine which is the main reason I selected this particular holster. The 2nd reason was that I could select it based on my exact handgun and here is the only fault I have. My handgun is a Smith & Wesson, M&P Shield 9mm and that is what I selected from the options. Now, this is a rather small handgun designed for concealed carry. This holster is too large for this particular model and the gun rests too far down in the holster. Overall, this is a small complaint. I understand a company can't custom design an exact fit holster for every gun made. It's just something you want to be aware of if you are buying for this particular model handgun.
