Great product
This product for me has really worked saving my furniture from my cat it is easy to apply and does exactly what it says on the tin and my cat has not scratched at all probably because it is sticky but I think you need to be creative at how you put it on your furniture to protect it from your cat scratching would highly recommend

Good, but not the outcome we expected.
Works fairly well. Not quite as sticky as some of the others we have tried but the added width is useful.Have discovered one snag we had not encountered with other tapes of this nature, one of our Bengals likes the smell and has taken to licking it, which of course removes the stickiness and is probably not the best hobby for him to have selected.

Works well
Not so easy to peel off but works when it’s on. Didn’t realise it was sticky on both sides. Have lots of fluff now stuck to it in a few places.

It’s invisible when applid
I have used the protector film on all corners and back of new upholstered furniture to keep my cat from scratching,so far works well ,it’s very very sticky best cut into smaller pieces to use.

Far more dangerous to carpets than cats... I'm gutted.
I hate to leave negative reviews, but I couldn't not tell the truth about this product. The good: the tape DOES stop the cats being interested in the carpet, they hated walking near the tape so that was a win. So I liberally applied the tape to several places and then left it on for a few days until the cats seemed disinterested in my new stair's carpet. Which brings me to the bad; removing the tape caused irreversible damage. The tape pulled the pile to my gorgeous new carpet and left it looking ragged and old. I tried to trim the pulled, fluffy damage which was ok for a day, but the tape pulled to the core of the carpet (the glue is THAT strong) so the pile keeps rising. What's worse, is that a residue of the tape glue was left behind on my carpet and so now I have dark rectangular patches all over my carpet where dust has stuck to the glue. This was a decent, professionally fitted carpet which hasn't even been down for a month. It needs professionally cleaning now AND several parts need to be replaced - they are damaged beyond repair. This product DOES stop cats being interested in your carpet, but in my experience, it irreversibly damages carpets and should not be used :(

Great scratch deterrent
This is great to tape on areas you don’t want the cat to scratch, I have the sides and backs of my dining room chairs taped and the sides of the sofa. You can see it but hopefully it won’t need to be on too long before they don’t even try scratching there anymore.

Leaves horrible residue on sofa that is almost impossible to remove.
Trying to remove the tape was terribly difficult as the adhesive was so incredible strong. After finally being able to peel away the tape, the adhesive was still more stubborn and planted itself permanently into the fabric of the sofa. We tried to use other bits of tape to try to remove it but made it worse. Why is this tape so strong? This is deterrent tape that should be designed to simply be a deterrent, not require the binding strength of super glue. This should be a weak adhesive, enough to attach lightly to surfaces and to annoy cats.Poorly designed, if at all. Seems like they sourced wide double-sided tape, packaged and marketed as "cat tape" and flogged it.Only gave 2 stars because my cat does actually hate it.
