Klein ToolsJ203-8 8-Inch Needle Nose Pliers, Heavy Duty Cutting, Extended Handles, High Leverage, Induction Hardened with Hot-Riveted Joint

This is my first foray into Klein products. I've had 4 prior pairs of needle nose pliers, and these by far are the best quality of all of them. Smooth action, really well balanced, easy grips, good heft to them, but not heavy...these are the pliers you've been hoping for.Really happy with my purchase...these will be in my toolbox/tool belt from now on.

Its a Klein, the go to tool for electricians. Have yet to find another brand that works as well and feels as good in the hand, and outstanding warranty

Best needle nose pliers I’ve ever owned!! I use them everyday and couldn’t be happier with them!! Klein Tools are the best!!

These Klein J203-8N long nose pliers are the ones I’ve used for many years and still carry them in my tool bucket every day. The one thing I really like about these pliers over the standard Klein long nose pliers is the #12 stripping notch in the center of the cutter. I first good use I found for it years ago was for cleanly stripping the rubber insulation off knob & tube wires without nicking the conductors or unravelling the woven outer covering. I also found it that it worked great on old BX wire for the same reasons. No nicking of the conductors or cracking the rubber insulation or unravelling the woven outer covering. The stripping notch also works great for #12 THHN solid and stranded wire that I seem to work with all the time. I do wish that Klein would make a Journeyman 2000 series version of these with the hardened cutters, so they could handle some heavier cutting tasks, but other than that, I really like the overall design of these pliers and will continue to use them on a daily basis.

I love Klein tools, always a quality product

I have 2 dipped handle versions of these LONG NOSE PLIERS (they are not needle nose pliers which are often mistaken for needle nose pliers). Needle nose pliers don't have side cutters on them. I found out the hard way on that besides their is such a tool called long nose pliers (not every plier that looks like this are needle nose pliers). Ever since I was a kid I knew these pliers were long nose and NOT NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS! BUT A lot of people call all these pliers needle nose pliers and forget that there is a plier called LONG NOSE PLIERS! I have used these pliers for years and known them as long nose pliers. They also have their purpose and place in the pliers line up.

Worked great as pliers but when trying to use them for cutting the notch for stripping wire kinda makes them useless

I like these needle nose and use them as a professional electrician. I DO NOT like the version with the stripper hole built into the cutting edges. I have a whole other tool specifically for that. I just want the cutting edges to cut. Klein makes excellent tools, not cheap but reliable!

I have owned a lot of needle nose pliers over the years but this is the best one I have ever had! It is definitely worth the cost to go with the Klein.

There is no reason your needle nose should be less robust and sturdy than other pliers. You can instantly feel the quality in these heavy duty yet precise pliers.
