After having some time to really play this woofer I would like to edit my initial review. This woofer isn't worth the price tag. It was cheaply assembled with this weird multicolored glue that is visible along the frame. This woofer isn't field replaceable but yet I was able to remove the entire cone/voice cool assembly due to the cheap glue. And if you're in need of a recone kit....good luck getting one from DS18. I had to get one custom build from PSI. Do yourself a favor and buy a true spl woofer...DD, IA, Sundown. My $500 Soundqubed HDC4's are 1.4db louder on the same amount of power.

You gotta pay to play with the big boys!
i cannot stress how much my initial investment on this thing is saving me in fuel costs alone. i have a 1991 geo metro sedan, and purchased 2 of these to mount in the rear cargo area. i have them facing in such a fashion, that to the rear of the car when listening to my sir mix a lot tapes,i have a fairly steady gust of wind that blows outward from the hatch area. this in turn, fills a small sail i have made from the skins of woodland creatures (mice, voles, snakes, etc).. the 3 cylinder engine my ride came direct from the plant with, used to get around 63 mpg. Now, with the extra push, factoring in the weight of these mamba jambas, and the stank of my carcass sail, i get right at 147 mpg. TWO big thumbs UP!

Baldest sub ever!
This is for sure the baldest sub ever! For sure 100% No hair on this bad mutha! If you are looking for a sub with hair this is not your sub as this 1 is bald! See product description to understand my comment.

This is not real
This speaker is junk not worth 200 American dollars let alone 5k lol. Anything that says troublemaker and is designed in China should shew you away. It was probably built in a sweat shop by a troublemaker.

Honest opinion
Over 5 grand for a sub with non solid N52 neo slugs? If you can score it for under 1500 then its a steal, other than that don't bother....
