Ultimate Survival Guide for Kids

The media could not be loaded. Nice semi-soft-semi-hard cover! Very bright with a lot of pictures - I'm sure it will be fun fir kids to read! Not sure about the actual content but seems to be fine.

My 5 year old granson really likes the pictures and enjoys having it read to him.It is similar to the Boys Life series called " Scouts in Action " except instead of a tale it is more focused on info about dangerous even deadly things that occur in mostly in nature. Useful starter info to prepare a youngster for what can happen and what to do or not do. It is slightly graphic which is good.But it doesnt really go into gruesome detail. Which is also good for little ones.If your intended child is timid or fearful this might actually provide info to help them feel equipped to go into the scary outdoors. ; )Alternately if your intended child is one of the newer model kids, i/e very timid afraid of everything and can't cope, or needs constant mothering ,then this could be conceivably be to much info for that kid.It does feature interesting things in nature to include predator animal attacks, venomous beasties and natural disaster,The sort of stuff that really interests a curious adventurous.Cool graphics and interesting factoids each topic is covered on 2 pages so it is a overview.I would estimate that it is aimed towards the Weblo and Cub Scout age group,Of course that could vary, with the kid.

This book is a very nice design. In-between a hard and soft cover. The inside is full of colorful display and emersive pics. Very interesting and full of facts and discription for any number of things, ranging from dangerous anamal to being trapped and even what to do in desaster. Totally worth the purchase.

This is a very basic infographic style book, covering a wide range of topics. I would not classify this as a guide, but more of a fun book to read since the information is very surface level. That’s said, the last chapter “Basic Survival Skills” is pretty good with more details about the practical things a kid might encounter, and are easily practiced.

Really easy read - loads of fun and interesting facts - very entertaining and educational! A great book for any kid (or maybe even some adults) that's interested in science, adventure, exploration, and the great outdoors!

This was a birthday gift for our 11 year old grandson who has an interest in all things survival. He liked the easy to understand instructions on how to resolve emergency situations.

I bought this for an 11 year old. He loved it. It has lots of information and isn't as repetitive as other survival books I've read.
