The most reached for book in my library!
This is the most reached for book in my library. The Information contained in this book is hands down the most comprehensive representation of the aerospace industry I’ve seen in one place.Having all of the information about the history of aerospace in one book from the history of the airlines, to the materials to the OEMs and even sub tier information makes it so useful for my business.I use it on a regular basis as a tool when I’m setting a strategy for my business or considering how to help support the industry in the Pacific Northwest.Everyone in the industry would benefit from reading this book and especially if you are new to the industry and want to fast track your knowledge of the history and all of the key players, look no further.

Outstanding overview of the last 30 years of the aerospace ecosystem
Kevin writes an eminently readable history of the commercial aerospace industry over the last 30 years in a way that ties together every part of the aerospace value chain - from the miners of titanium ores to the MRO's involved in end of life part outs....He does this without being tedious or too technical, but is not afraid to add deep technical detail where it is relevant to the point being made. The book goes into the great aerospace battles of our time - Boeing vs. Airbus, Pratt vs. GE (and Rolls), and United, American, Delta, and Southwest vs each other and tells us how we got to this point in the industry. This is required reading for ever aerospace executive!
