The first time I used it, I realized the lid was loose. I had to hold it in place when I used it. Turned out, it only lasted 5 days. I believe I sharpened 4 pencils. The sharpener broke out of the lid, so I tried using the little sharpener, just holding it between two fingers, only to find that it had split in several places and couldn't be used at all.

Great for school
It's great for my son for preschool. I don't like how the top comes off so easily and the shaving fall out sometimes and spill but other than that, it's a great sharpener and my son is definitely enjoying it.

Keep looking. The 2 pieces aren't designed to hold together.
Clear plastic part doesn't stay connected to the colored plastic part. So, when the container fills with pencil shaving, it can easily come apart thus making a mess. Even for a$1.50 I expected to 2 pieces to, at least somewhat, hold together. Fixed it by taping the pieces together.

No longer works after three weeks
After three weeks it no longer works! Also thought I would be getting three sharpeners but only received one. The ad is misleading. I would not recommend it.

Both advertisement pictures show 3 sharpeners and the ad doesn’t specify that you actually only get one. It works as expected but the picture and lack of proper description makes you believe you’re order three. Deceptive. Would not order again based on that.
