Im having an issue with getting false tips to stay glued to these practice/display fingers. I have tried almost everything I could think of... Any advice?

These practice fingers are definitely small but great to practice on. You need to file down the surface as you would with a real nail bed. I apply Mia secret primer for acrylic/gel to the nail bed then I apply forms to sculpt with. I prefer Gel to acrylic but for the review I created an acrylic nail to show that they will both adhere to the nail surface if applied correctly with the same nail system ie. I use only mia secret products to build out the nail, I did not mix brands. First pic is Gel sculpted and second and 3rd is Acrylic.

If I could give this product zero stars I would. It’s extremely hard to practice on. Like getting the fake nail to stick to it is hard. I even tried filing the finger to see if that would help and nothing. I could not get the fake nail to stick to this finger. I am very disappointment

Great practice fingers for beginners. I used them to teach my student acrylic application. You will need to buff the surface to remove the smooth texture and when applying the nails apply halfway up the nail. The best size nails are 7,8,9. My students resides them several times by popping the nail off. It helps if you don’t use primer before applying the acrylic

Some people say that the hand is tiny, but I think its absolutely perfect. Yeah the palm is tiny, fingers are short, but all I need is adult female looking finger nails. Pretty much the same size as mine.***** if you're looking to practice acrylic, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU***** it is really hard to keep the nail in place, so this is mostly for painting nails, or display. (As far as my experience went)

These are way too small it’s like you’re doing pinkies all day. Its difficult to stick your tips on these as well. If you’re learning how to apply acrylic I would honestly just invest in the full practice hand with replacement nails since they have different sizes for thumb and other fingers. Also it is hard to use if you stick these on your table. I guess they work better for display if you have a salon

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I am a cosmetologist and I’ve been doing nails for a few years now. I bought these so I can practice different designs on and they are perfect to practice on. I just put on a nail form and I was ready to go !!

I'm a licensed cosmetologist who decided to take the nail side if it serious. First off, These are very small. Basically the size of a large pinky nail. Tips are VERY hard to stick. I've noticed my clear tips don't stick at all! My natural color tips stick only after buffing the fake finger and holding it down. Im scared to try to file them as the adhesion is fragile. Overall I'm still getting the job done.

These nails are super useful especially if you’re trying to practice! Though, they are very difficult to glue on nail tips to. Usually I buff off the edges of the tips and file the nail itself so that it sticks on. The pictures I’ve attached are what I have been able to do using this product.

These are very small as other reviewers have said, about the size of a pinky. May be user error but I had a hard time using forms on it. I would rather invest in a hand than more of these fingers. I wish there was a variety of sizes in it but for the price can't complain. I'll be returning due to size.

I didn’t have any problems with the fingers. When applying tips make sure you file the nail a lot before gluing the tip down and hold the nail in place for 30 seconds that’s how I got the tips to stay on

On the smaller side they match my pinky finger... but I can’t complain they work as expected :)

Really nice quality, nails are easy to stick on it.. a little smaller than normal fingers but worth the money!
