Great Product, Hard to Find Desert Sand!
I originally purchased the lighter gray color as they had it at my local Home Depot. The product is very nice and easy to work with. It is thick and goes on smooth flat concrete or even very uneven and bumpy concrete. I purchased the gray to cover my outside sidewalks as they had been patched over the years and was starting to look like a paint by numbers. I did a few steps and my wife came home and hated it, so we began the search again for the hard to find desert sand color (SU-0922).I ended up finding it here on Amazon from a 3rd party seller named BIC Warehouse. I was a little hesitant as the cost was just under $30 for the paint, plus $16 to ship. But, I have to make her happy so I bought it. What a difference, it is a wonderful color and looks great on our older sidewalks leading up to our home. Again, our outside concrete sidewalks are chipped, bumpy and have been patched, but this paint filled in the tiny pot holes and chips and covered the patch work quite well.I did end up using the lighter gray color on our basement floor, which is a very smooth concrete which is slippy when wet. I know that because we did have some slight flooding last year and it created quite a mess as the previous owners simply used your basic indoor house paint for the concrete basement floor. I did some light sanding and scraping to get all the loose paint off, washed and simply applied the new Sure Step paint thickly to the floor. Again, it looks amazing and has a fine grit to it so that we don't slip and fall. I also used this on the basement steps, which are wood, however this paint stuck very well. So, I have purchase 3 cans of this paint and used it inside and outside on smooth concrete, rough concrete, and wooden steps inside and out. I am going to cover our wooden porch floor with this as well to reduce slipping when wet.I highly recommend this product, no matter what color you choose or what your use is on your home. Simply clean the area well and make sure there is no moisture or dirt. The drying time is very good. It says wait 24 hours before walking on, however it was dry to the touch in about an hour or so and I could walk on it in 6-8 hours without a worry. I have not put a second coat on as I put it on quite thick the first time. Just keep in mind that there are little bits of "sand" in this paint to cause the grip, and the sand bits do settle in the bottom. It may be easier to use a pan and keep rolling it around. On my rough concrete I did it all by hand as the roller seemed to miss many spots.

Non- slip paint, perfect for around the pool!
This is great paint. No slip which is perfect for around a pool. It covers great. I posted the before picture (Gray) and the after (desert sand) I bought 6 gallons, but only had to use 5. I highly recommend this paint.

Massive Discoloration
The nitty-gritty: I pressure washed, etched, applied 1 coat of bonding primer, THREE coats of this crap and capped the job off w/two applications of a clear top-coat. Result: over $100. in materials later dressing up a 120 square foot uncovered, concrete exterior patio (not to mention several hours of labor), the original paint color is turning to from an attractive light beige to a charming urea yellow. PLUS, this stuff didn't even have the decency to turn uniformly yellow - just 'yellowish' in several large swaths. This transformation occurring a whopping 6 weeks after job completion.

Met all of my expectations
I bought this for my walkway which is a heavy traffic area and can be very slippery in the Winter once it snows.Following the directions,I applied the paint (2 coats) and let it dry. When the paint dries it provides great traction without being too thick. This has become my go-to product for all of my walkways.BTW very easy cleanup

Best paint for Pool Cool Decks and Florida Lanai!
This paint is amazing. We mix 2 to 1 Dessert Sand and Light Grey to get the light Taupe color we want for our Lanai (used a 3 1/2 gallon bucket). It's more work but worth it since it only comes in about 6 basic colors. We painted our Lanai and pool cool concrete which was 20 years old about 5 years ago, filling obvious cracks first, and it still looks great. It fills in all the nooks and crannies that develop on a cement cool deck after 20 years. It does take a lot of paint because it's so thick with the added sand, but well worth it for the finished look. If you are mixing colors, make sure you mix all the gallons several times into each other for consistent color. We bought 15 gallons total for our lanai (about 800 square feet) which cost about $500 but the finished lanai is amazing. First coat takes more (took us about 9 gallons), but the second coat only took 5 gallons, leaving us a gallon for future touch-ups around the spa, etc.. Our friends ask us who painted it and can't believe it when we tell them we did it ourselves.

Great!
I put 2 coats on a sidewalk in AZ and it looks great after a year. Will use it again on the concrete patio. Washed the concrete surface with a hose then scrubbed with a broom then rinsed and air dried overnight. It is adhering well and is very slip resistant. I recommend to friends!
