Everything works! It came in good condition! Little to no scratches! Battery says normal. Everything is functioning quite fine. However the charger that was sent with it is not working sensibly. Like when I plugged it in it was like a shortish. I had to keep messing with it for it to work properly. That’s really my only problem unfortunately.

Never bought a used laptop before, so I was a bit wary. This is for my wife as a Mac OS "training" computer since she is coming from 25 years of Windows. I must say that I am astounded at how absolutely perfect this Macbook Pro is. There is almost no way to tell it has ever been used. It looks brand new. Not a mark, scratch, or smudge on it. Nothing. Screen is perfect and looks brand new. Even the keys on the keyboard look new. No signs of use or wear. It was very well packaged in a plain white heavy duty box, and that was placed inside an Amazon shipping box. The charging block is not the original, but it is brand new and wrapped in factory plastic. Same for the USB-C charging cable. This was just an incredible deal for a still very useful and powerful laptop.

Unfortunately this is the very first review that I’m doing where I’m giving no stars and a very honest negative review. I was super excited to get this 2019 MacBook Pro. Reviews seemed good and I felt it was worth the investment in comparison to other sellers on Amazon. Shipping was relatively quick and the machine was in excellent shape. Practically new looking. The issue though is the battery. After charging this for several days the battery drain is horrible. Doesn’t hold a charge on its own power for very long. This is with very light usage such as checking emails and browsing the internet. I even changed the power settings to help reduce background usage. Still within 2 hours of consistent usage this battery went from 100 to 30%. I reached out to Amazon customer service to inquire about this issue and hoped that the seller would present an accommodating resolution. The problem with that is the battery can’t be easily physically replaced on your own and it’s advised that Apple should do it. The cost for Apple to do that is $250. I advised the seller of this and they never responded. Furthermore, Amazon had no resolutions other than to return the laptop which I’ll gladly be doing with great disappointment. I advise that you do your research on sellers before purchasing a used $600 machine. I wouldn’t give this seller a chance and furthermore they shouldn’t be selling on Amazon if they can’t satisfactorily accommodate.

All I can say is that I am very impressed with the unit that I got. While it is an older laptop, it honestly doesn't feel like it. There are a handful of scratches across the unit that seem to have come with normal wear, but other than that, the unit is near perfect. Battery life is decent for a used laptop, the screen is literally perfect with no scratches on the unit.The speakers are nice and crisp with a nice and heavy bass and are able to easily fill a small room without issue.While I haven't had a lot of time to use the laptop yet, from what I can tell, this is an extremely well built and lasting computer to pick up.For me, while the M1 MacBooks are definitely more powerful, the only other laptop that comes close to the MacBook Pro with the i7 is the M1 MacBook Air, which doesn't have a fan which can cause the computer to overheat with prolonged use. While this won't be able to hit the performance markers that the Air can hit, it definitely does better with staying cool thanks to the built in fans.Add on the ability to run windows through the dual boot, and the value for what is being offered just can't be beat.
